About this property

New Maine Private Lake House

This BRAND NEW 4/3 lake house on 4 acres is surrounded by preserve. It is a private but convenient location less than 30 minutes from Bar Harbor & a short drive to downtown Ellsworth. Living room/kitchen and covered patio areas are perfect for your guests to get together and bedrooms are spread throughout the home for maximum privacy. Luxuries throughout like smart TV's, heated flooring and outdoor fireplace. This amazing getaway is spacious, clean and luxurious and first reservations are accepted in June!
The space
The 4 bedrooms are spread throughout the house and include: 1 King bedroom over the garage. 2nd bedroom over garage has 2 twin trundle beds which can also form a king. This 2nd bedroom also has a small connected room with a cordoroy beanbag that turns in full bed, so a perfect space for @ 3 kids or 2 adults. 3rd bedroom off the living room is a queen bed and has lake views. 4th bedroom is the master and has a king bed off the dining room area with lake views.

Other things to note
Outdoor patio fireplace is available for guest use. Indoor fireplace is not available. No pets are allowed in the home due to family members allergy. There is a RING security camera at the front door.

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds, gather used towels and store extra beds
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
Remove food from fridge & cupboards & take all trash, including bathroom trash out to bin. Strip beds & collect all sheets and towels in laundry room. Start one load of only towels before leaving.
Please turn the heat to 58 F in winter and the AC to 77 F in the summer. Turn off both upstairs wall units completely & be sure all bathroom radiant floor heating are off. Replace furniture & kayaks.
Turn off lights & appliances. Clean Bathrooms: Wipe countertops. Remove any debris from drains. Clean Kitchen: Wipe countertops, load all dishes into the dishwasher and run it on the normal cycle.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

Delightful vacation at a lovely lake home

Pristine new home awaits you! We enjoyed the large spaces and the ability to invite friends and family to join. We kayaked on Graham Lake (thanks to the Activity Shop in Blue Hill). The house was located close to our favorite spots - Acadia - Cadillac Mountain, Puffin Boat Tour and Fort Knox.

This house is amazing! It is the perfect oasis after a day exploring Maine. The layout of the house was perfect and gave everyone quiet peaceful rest areas and large gathering spaces for us to be together. The setting of the house is peaceful and the view of the lake is beautiful. The house is well equipped and really felt more like home than a vacation rental. Of course our family favorite was the screen in porch area. The host was easy to work with and check in and check out was a breeze. 5 stars is really not enough for this house.

Beautiful house on Maine lake

As a group of 7, we really enjoyed this spacious house on a beautiful lake in Maine. Lots of space and we LOVED the outside space with the outdoor fireplace. The house has a ton of features that make the space very enjoyable. (Loved those heated floors in the bathrooms). The kayaks were a plus as we enjoyed a morning row on the lake. Matt was very responsive when I had questions. Overall, a great experience.

Maine Lake House

This house rental fit our family's needs perfectly. Knowing we would want to the option to NOT go hiking at the national park, we wanted a place we knew would be comfortable and spacious for our family of seven adults and one infant. Bedrooms and their accompanying bathrooms are nicely separated from one another, affording individuals and/or couples plenty of personal space and privacy. The screened in back patio with fireplace was hands-down everyones favorite room. Kitchen is great and had everything we needed. Bathrooms were big, clean and the showers were a delight after a day of hiking.

Take out the kayaks, go for a swim and enjoy the outdoor fireplace as you watch outdoor tv and look at the lake. Sounds relaxing because it is! All with the technology conveniences of home at your fingertips!

This brand new home has the latest technology throughout such as high speed wifi, 4 smart tv's throughout with local and cable stations, ring security system, water purification system on site to offer cleanest water possible, upgraded appliances with GE monogram stove and griddle top, Xbox game room, heated radiant flooring in bathrooms, fireplace inside and out, and most importantly in fly season a screen that lowers to cover the outdoor patio! You won't find this new a house with these upgrades anywhere in the area.
