Sammy's Beach fully renovated and modern house with large pool, bocce court, firepit, children's playhouse and basketball hoop on a quiet and tranquil cul de sac.

Tucked inside of Shelters Landing beach community, this home is equipped for lounging in the gorgeous oversized pool, running around the large lawn, and offers easy access to four bay beaches for swimming. A short ten minute drive to Sag Harbor and East Hampton towns and town beaches.

There are four true enclosed bedrooms and a pullout queen sofa in the private lower level living space. While not enclosed, it is separated from the main floor and lower level bedroom.

Not an accurate description

The host stated in her listing that it’s a 5 bedroom house when it’s only a 3 bedroom home. They have 2 pullout couches (which they consider additional bedrooms) that both had gum and candy wrappers inside of them and when I asked the host why they were not cleaned or why their wasn’t bedding for them, her response was no one told her we needed them. Really? Other issues, no shades (throughout the entire house), pool was represented to be heated and after 3 days of swimming in a non heated pool, I complained and host tried to extract $350 extra for providing heat which I refused to pay. Host then provided heat free of charge. I did not appreciate the three indoor cameras (one hidden) which I turned off. The hot water heater had to be repeatedly turned on and off to get it working again. And the awning used for shade broke the very first time we used it. That being said, the house is a nice renovated home but we felt they misrepresented a number of things in their listing. When we complained to VRBO, they provided no support whatsoever.

Response: “Thank you for your stay and we hope you enjoyed your time at the home and in the Hamptons. Unfortunately, the tenant failed to follow house rules maintaining the quality of the house and items therein, caused damage to our motorized awning and thereafter attempted to represent themselves as the owner in seeking to have it addressed with vendors unknown to owner, and fabricated many of the complaints noted above that are not accurate. The listing has been fully accurate, including per VRBO and photos available to all, and the home unanimously enjoyed by all other tenants to date. We wish you the best in finding other residences in the future.”
