This place had everything we needed for a relaxing weekend getaway. The view was fantastic, the house was comfortable, and the communication from the host was excellent. We especially enjoyed watching the sunrise from the deck.
I have no problem giving this location a 5.0 at the top of the list! Our 40th anniversary stay was relaxing and peaceful in a beautiful home with beautiful surroundings. The home was welcoming and accommodating, clean and comfortable. We will definitely book another stay. Thanks to the hosts for a magnificent 40th anniversary stay.
The lake view was the primary reason we chose this property and it didn't disappoint! From the deck and patio, from the downstairs, from the master bedroom, all just fantastic view of Lake Erie. The property was clean and the host promptly answer a couple of questions.
Great, clean, updated place with beautiful views! We especially enjoyed sitting outside on the porch furniture watching all of the boats. We never had any issues, but when we had questions, Scott was quick to respond. We have already highly recommended this property to several friends and will be returning.
Wonderful lake front view. This house had everything we needed for a quick getaway. We loved sitting in the recliners overlooking the lake. It was very clean and Scott was great at getting back promptly when we had a question. We would definitely stay here again!
We had a really nice stay overall. The location and views were true highlights, and we especially loved spotting a beautiful bald eagle nearby—such an unexpected treat! The bedrooms and beds were clean and comfortable, which made it a restful place to unwind. There were just a few areas that I brought to the owner’s attention. They were very responsive (which was great) and we would have enjoyed a few minor touches (like games or additional amenities and updates) to make it feel even more homey. The people living in the area are really nice and welcoming. Overall, a lovely place in a great setting.
This home was perfect for our week long stay. The view was stunning, and we were immediately comfortable in this very livable home. We particularly enjoyed the outside space and using the fire pit every evening. When it got too cool outside, we retreated to the living room with its comfy couches, as well as the room with the recliners next to the expansive windows with their lake views. We appreciated all the supplies that were available for our use as well. We look forward to returning to this lake home very soon!
The house was as listed, with the views even more spectacular than the pics. We traveled as a family with kids and appreciated that the house was clean, as that is so important to us. We also loved that there were hooks and places to hang coats, bags, and towels throughout (a peeve of mine with many other rentals). The kitchen was stocked with many needed items, and although there is not a dish washer, we had plenty of space to wash and dry. We all slept great and did many area attractions, such as Cedar Point, Kelley’s Island, Nickel Plate beach, Huron Habor lighthouse, Old Women’s beach. Scott was a wonderful host and very communicative. We will be back to stay our next time visiting this area on Erie.
