Our host was wonderful. She responded to all of our pre-trip inquiries quickly. When a light bulb went out in an overhead light, it was taken care of within hours of our request.
Overall a great rental.
Everything was new and beautifully decorated. The host very responsive to our questions. However, we didn't have internet. I was able to use my phone as a hotspot.
Stayed in first floor of victorian home in heart of Manchester's historic home district. Host communicated well and was very accommodating. Apartment had new appliances and many updates. Yard had some beautiful plantings. Home is a short drive to most conveniences. Historic Main St of Manchester is worth checking out, we didn't find it until we were leaving.House was very clean. We would stay here again. Parking was off street.
Overall a very good experience. The neighborhood is nice, and the kitchen is well equipped. I would stay there again with my family.
Some things to be aware of:
The VRBO is one of two units in the building.
The sofabed does not have a fold out mattress (I'd call it a sofa). It can sleep one but not two.
.
Onsite parking is limited to 2 cars, and it's not very clear where to park upon arrival, so I'd suggest getting clear parking instructions from the host in advance.
The coded door lock is a bit tricky to operate - I found it easy to open but more difficult to lock on the way out. I figured it out, but to save time I'd suggest getting clear instructions from the host in advance.
Originally my family and I had a reservation elsewhere that accidentally got double booked. So we found this place last minute. It’s a cute, clean home. It was the perfect size for my little family and I. The only thing I will say is we had no idea which driveway was to our stay. And we accidentally parked in the neighbors driveway. One of the rooms had a foul smell to it, we couldn’t figure out where the smell was coming from. And the cleaning lady couldn’t find it either. Also the windows don’t have any blinds, just curtains. Other than that, it was just as described. The neighborhood was quiet. People were polite. The food around the area was amazing!
