Host was very welcoming. I particularly liked the ability of coffee. Overall accommodations very comfortable and clean. Soap needs to be upgraded as do Spectrum channels to include ESPN
The apartment is perfect for 1 or a couple; amenities are sufficient, located is a quiet area, in a walkable village. When visiting the area, this is our first choice.
Our family was in Medina for a wedding, and we found this gem. Grandpa got the first floor room, and we took the second floor. The place was well laid out and even had a small desk/workstation. A short 15 min walk to downtown, and 5 min to the canal. A great stay, thank you!
The kitchen is adequate for light preparation. Hot plate, microwave and toaster oven. There is no stove or oven.
Overall a good place for access to bike trail.
Only downside is the neighborhood dogs barking. Seemed to drop off at night.
The only minor inconvenience was the tiny bathroom sink. From front to back, the sink basin can barely fit a dinner fork and the faucet head gets in the way of splashing one’s face while shaving. The bathroom is cramped and lacks a wall shelf (ideally placed above toilet) or a medicine cabinet to place toiletries. Our unit was very clean and tidy. The bed frame and mattress were clearly new, as was an area rug in the living room. The electric baseboard heating units kept the place toasty warm over our winter stay. The big container of coffee grounds for the 5-cup drip coffee maker was a nice touch. The owner was very responsive and quick to answer questions via VRBO text, including providing clear instructions on entry via punch-in door code. The unit is in a quiet neighborhood.
The apartment was clean and had all the amenities that we needed. The neighborhood has all the creature comforts (Tops, Tim Hortons, take out), and it was in a quiet, nice party of Medina. We were very happy with our stay and the price was MUCH better than local hotels.
Family visit to see my parents. We rented both units. It was perfect having everybody close.. it was unusually hot and after contacting Bryan he came immediately to install the window AC units. That was much appreciated
The 1-bedroom apartment was perfect: warm (stayed during winter), clean, attention to detail. Quiet neighborhood. It was a welcome retreat after a busy day with family. Thank you for the complimentary coffee!
The apartment was so homey and very relaxing! The location was great for the event we were attending in Gasport. We even had a chance to walk to downtown Medina for brunch. The people we’ve met were so nice and accommodating. We may be back again in the near future. Thanks!
I really only needed a place to sleep at night, but this unit offered up a lot for the price. The apartment was a good size overall, divided into bedroom, living room, and kitchen. Small bathroom and a couple closets too. Access was incredibly easy and secure with exterior motion lights and double entry doors with coded locks.I would certainly book here again next time I'm in town.
We visit Medina, NY a couple times each year and have stayed in several places. This stay was super convenient and clean. The property is a first floor apartment! Close to downtown and the Erie Canal.
We hope to return soon.
Everything you need, very clean, no complaints at all, only a suggestion: A curved shower rod and a fabric curtain would make showering more comfortable.
