About this property

Quiet and relaxing getaway by the lake

Come and enjoy a peaceful and relaxing weekend, week or month at our cozy lake front cottage on the shores of Lake Ontario. There are two bedrooms. One with a queen bed and one with a twin bed. The living room has a queen size sleeper sofa (new in 2022 with a comfortable mattress).

You can do as much as you want by visiting nearby Golden Hill State Park & Lighthouse to hike their trails (2 miles from the cottage) or a number of local wineries, fruit and vegetable stands, Amish stores and antique shops.

Or you can do as little as you want by just sitting by a camp fire on the waterfront sipping your favorite beverage and watching the wildlife go by. If it gets too windy on the lakeside, you can still enjoy a campfire in the park like setting in the backyard.

If you are up for an adventure, Niagara Falls is 60 minutes away to view the famous falls, Cave of the Winds or take a ride on the Maid of the Mist, visit the historic Village of Lewiston's shops or take a jet boat ride on the mighty Niagara River (45 mins.) or visit Old Fort Niagara in Youngstown (35 mins). Also, 45 mins. to the south is Darien Lake Amusement Park.

This property is great. Very clean and as described in the listing. The lake is right out back, and provides a great view. The owner takes time to make you feel at home with the little things and it shows. Owner lives nearby and is incredibly helpful and friendly. We arrived late at night and she had the lights on for us. I would stay again for sure.

We enjoyed our stay. The cottage was clean, nicely appointed and had everything needed for a comfortable stay. We appreciated that the area was quiet and no auto traffic. The lakefront setting was very peaceful, relaxing and had a fire pit near the water for evening enjoyment.

Wonderful cottage right on Lake Ontario. Very clean and well appointed. Close to neighbors but very quiet, with plenty of privacy. The owners are fantastic; super friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

Just Great!

This is probably the cleanest, well stocked and most accommodating place we've rented. The owners are super nice and take well care of this cottage which is nothing short of cozy. The views of the lake and its sunsets are stunning.

The perfect getaway

This was an amazing getaway. Being next to the lake was so peaceful. The house had everything we could need. The bed was extremely comfortable. It’s very quiet other then then sound of the lake waves. I can’t wait to come back again.
