Great house, with walkable beach or walk to town of Elk Rapids (about 1 mile) or hike to nature conservation area. Kayaks and bikes available to enjoy the bay and area. Sit on the 2nd story deck and enjoy the amazing sunsets over the Mission Peninsula. 15 minute drive to Traverse City. 10 minutes to Flintfields Horse Farm.

Great beach property

My family and I had a wonderful stay at this Elk Rapids beach home. Conveniently located 1.5 miles North of town, you can easily walk to Shorts Brewery or the new Foundry restaurant. Beach was clean and sandy as far as you can walk out. Also a few houses South of the open beach reserve. Eric the owner was very accommodating and responsive to all requests. Will stay again.

Great Location

Our stay was perfect. Check in was easy, the property was clean, kitchen was stocked was all supplies to cook and eat in (if you want), all amenities were in working order, overall a great place to stay with family. The property is family friendly and so is the location. It is safe and in close proximity to all attractions north and south. The property manager, Eric, was wonderful with communication- probably one of the best I’ve encountered. We will be back :)

Fantastic stay on the lake in Elk Rapids

Stayed at this great property for a week over July 4th. We absolutely loved every second. Eric was great with communication and the place is in a great location! The house has all you need for a week on the lake to cook, hangout with family and enjoy the water. The views are outstanding and the house is clean and comfortable. With the town of elk rapids and easy walk away, and Traverse City about a 25 minute drive there’s plenty of options if you want to get off the water. Extra bonus for the awesome dock on which we spent hours watching the water and sunsets. We hope to be back!!

Amazing lake views and beautiful property

My family had a wonderful time at Eric's house in Elk Rapids. The house was very clean, nicely furnished, and well-appointed. I appreciated that there was a fully stocked kitchen (spices, oil, vinegar, etc., plus all the equipment you'd need to cook) and some accessibility measures in place like grab bars in the bathrooms and hallway. The beds were comfortable and two of the three bedrooms have great lake views to wake up to! We loved having our coffee on the deck in the morning, and got to see some stunning sunsets over the lake at night. The location was great if you plan to hang at the house a lot, it's also relatively close to downtown Elk Rapids which is cute to walk around. It's about 30 minutes from Traverse City and the peninsula with all the wineries. Finally, Eric's communication was 10/10. Thanks for making our stay great!
