The host was very responsive and the VRBO was as described. Went for a convention with coworkers. Convenient location if going between Denver and Aurora by car.
A family member was hosting Christmas, but did not have enough rooms at her house for the whole family. This pet friendly space was near her house in a great neighborhood. A dog park near by. Short drive to coffee, restaurants, movie theaters. Lots of room, a well-stocked kitchen, parking. I heartily recommend.
Property is in good condition, upgraded/remodeled and adequately stocked kitchen. Bedrooms are spacious and comfortable (master bedroom bedding had odor). Some concerns about the property & online listing: since VRBO does not disclose accurate location, it was not known home is in a questionable neighborhood. Some of our family witnessed drug deals going on across the street and people sitting in vehicles along the street getting high. This made us very uncomfortable and uneasy walking to the park down the street. The home is listed as pet friendly, which was great. However, the yard was not cleaned from previous pets, which we did ourselves. Also, the owners asked for an additional pet fee after our stay that they said was required. However, it was not asked or requested at time of booking. They did not set this up to be included in the VRBO booking platform. VRBO confirmed this and said fee cannot be collected. This was very unprofessional and not what I have expected from a residence that clearly allows/includes a pet in the rental fee. Summed up the home was comfortable, but undesirable location.

Liked: Cleanliness, communication
Disliked: Check-in, location, listing accuracy
Not a great neighborhood.
One house from MLK Boulevard, which can be quite noisy and busy. Based upon the behavior of some neighbors, I can only assume there was drug dealers across the street. Abandoned cars next door. This is NOT a single family home, it is a duplex. No drawers for clothing in the upstairs bedrooms. Cookware needs to be replaced!
