About this property

Happy Glamper RV with large fire pit and deck! Wi-Fi | Dog Friendly | Hammock

Happy Glamper RV at Haven of Hope | 14+ acres near Little River Canyon | Wi-Fi | Fire Pit | Walking Trails | Creek | Double Hammock | Picnic Table | Dog Friendly | Hosts 2 Guests

Glamping at Haven of Hope near Little River Canyon! Named Happy Glamper RV, this RV offers a peaceful retreat on the private 14+ acre Haven of Hope retreat near Little River Canyon National Preserve. Relax on the very large private deck beside the fire pit with your favorite drink, and enjoy views through a canopy of trees. Native plants and a variety of wildlife can be seen in the morning as you enjoy that first cup of coffee or hot tea. Listen close for the footsteps of deer that run frequently through the woods. Take a nap in the large double hammock, or go for a walk in the woods on two easy walking trails - Rippling Brook Walking Trail and Lost and Found Walking Trail. Each trail is perfect for picnics on the ground and has access to a swing-for-two in the woods! Rippling Brook Walking Trail leads to a creek that runs through the property. Renew, refresh, and be restored!

Not long after you turn onto the private road that winds through the 14+ acre retreat called Haven of Hope, you will drive past Serenity Escape Treehouse on your right (also listed and available - sleeps 6), two walking trails and then Peaceful Hideaway Treehouse on your left (also listed and available - sleeps 6). Keep driving up the one-way private road (descending/exiting vehicles should yield to incoming/ascending vehicles and back up until space to pass). Once at the top, you will see Happy Glamper RV and the large deck area. The gravel parking area allows you to park one vehicle near the RV.

**THE RETREAT PROPERTY**

OUTDOORS: When you step out of your car and on to the large private deck, you will take in the views and know your peaceful retreat has begun as you are surrounded by nature. There is a large brick fire pit in the center of the deck for s'mores memories, and extendable marshmallow roasters are under the kitchen sink in the RV. “Rim of the Canyon Café and General Store” is less than 2 miles from the property and has s’more supplies and lots of other goodies for your retreat! In the corner is a picnic table, great for outdoor dining. Stringed lights above are for your peaceful evenings and are operated by a control right inside the RV door. Next to the deck, you'll see a campground-style BBQ grill. Bring your favorite charcoal or wood chips for grilling, and BBQ grill tools are located inside the RV under the kitchen sink. In the woods, but viewable from the RV, you'll see the double hammock...perfect for enjoying afternoon naps :) Across the graveled parking area, you'll see "Haven of Honey" Bee Resort....feel free to grab a chair and watch their habits. They are very calm and mild, but don't get too close, as nature will have them defending their resort ;)

The metal building, "Sarsaparilla Lookout Workshop" near Happy Glamper RV serves as a workshop for the homeowners and Peaceful Retreats...as well as a temporary cabin when the homeowners are there, as they plan to build a permanent cabin in the woods in the next couple of years :)

Down close to Peaceful Hideaway Treehouse and Serenity Escape Treehouse, there are two easy walking trails - Rippling Brook Walking Trail and Lost and Found Walking Trail. Each trail is perfect for picnics on the ground and has access to a swing-for-two in the woods! Rippling Brook Walking Trail leads to a creek that runs through the property.

INDOORS: Stepping inside the RV, you will appreciate the sight of a cozy reading nook and loveseat in the living area. There is plenty of room for two guests to enjoy this space. There are games, books and puzzles in a cabinet above the entertainment center. On cool mornings, you will enjoy the small electric fireplace that is thermostat-controlled. For movie nights in, there is a 32” HD Roku television (can rotate and face bedroom when bedroom doors are closed). It includes LIVE TV and a DVD player and stereo system. In addition, highspeed Wi-Fi is available so you can stream your own favorite subscriptions.

Also in the living room area is the dining booth. Seats up to 4 Guests. The homeowner works remotely at the dining table and outside at the picnic area. Great places with fast Wi-Fi to work :)

Because the RV is 30-amp, the homeowners have provided small electric appliances on metal shelves near the dining table. There is a multi-plug outlet attached to the shelves, and it runs outside to a separate breaker from the RV so that they don't pull from the RV electricity. There is a crockpot for your favorite freezer meals, a large toaster oven great for baking, and for cool mornings, a small thermostat-controlled, electric fireplace.

Also in the main living area, there is a small, well-equipped RV kitchen with a refrigerator/freezer, stove, microwave, 12-cup drip coffee maker, electric water kettle, mini blender, stainless pots/pans/skillet, can & wine bottle opener, cooking utensils, dishes, drinking & wine glasses, eating utensils, spices, coffee mugs, and more. The homeowners love to travel and camp, but they love all of the "extras" and believe you will also :) There is also pantry storage between the kitchen and the bathroom.

Separated from the living area (by sliding doors), there is a primary bedroom. There is a queen-size bed with a 8" memory foam mattress (Classic Brands - medium firm) and comfortable bedding for your rest and relaxation. There is a small mirrored closet on each side of the bed.

Back in the living area and next to the bathroom, you will see a full-size bed. Happy Glamper RV is ideal for 2 guests, but a max of 2 additional guests can be registered. On the full-bed, there is a standard RV mattress, as well as a 3" memory foam topper for added comfort. There is additional bedding (pillows & blankets) stored in a bag that sits on the bed when 2 additional guests are registered. Above the full-size bed, you will find a clothes hamper, a large portable fan and extra storage area for your luggage.

The small private bathroom has a sink, tub/shower combo and toilet. There is a standard RV hot water tank, so be aware for brief warm showers ;) Turkish towels that are fast-drying and absorbent are provided, as well as hand towels, washcloths and a makeup cloth. In the bathroom is a door that we use as an emergency exit only.

Message the Host if you would like information on reserving the entire 14+ acre retreat property which includes Peaceful Hideaway Treehouse, Serenity Escape Treehouse (across the private road from one another, nestled in the woods) and Happy Glamper RV (follow the private road to the top of the mountain). The entire retreat property, Haven of Hope, can currently host up to 14 Guests.

Perfect spot
The property is such a great location. Beautiful, serene, picturesque, and relaxing. Perfect ambiance. Background songs of birds, frogs, and sheep while enjoying the fireplace on the deck. The glamper has the most comfortable bed we have every experienced while away from home. Including the pillows. Amenities are highest quality. The host David and Misti are the sweetest! We highly recommend this location and Peaceful Retreats!

A needed retreat in early spring!
Our stay was an amazing retreat from the busyness of every day life. We were able to focus on rest, renewal, and re-energizing. We were able to cook meals at our leisure, sit on the large deck with wine or coffee wrapped in soft blankets in front of the fire while the conversation flowed uninterrupted. Even the day it did rain was a perfect melancholy day here! If you need a place to escape from the hustle and bustle, forget about the clock, and to reconnect this is the place to be!
