Rachel was a great host who provided clear instructions/directions as well as a ton of information on local activities. Had a great weekend bouncing between state parks.

Thank you wonderful people. Please come back anytime. Happy trails.
This was the perfect spot for our vacation with our dogs. It was clean, had a beautiful view of the forest around it, and the landscapers/cleaners even built up the firepit for us with logs, which we greatly appreciated. Pro tip, that crimson patterned recliner? You need to call that first when you get in. That's the most comfortable chair I've been in. Watching the sun rise and sun set through the windows was emaculate. I would've loved to have been there during snow, but well worth it outside of that. I love this little house.

You will just have to come back. Thank you for choosing our cabin for your stay. Rachel
We loved the cabin and the location. My only complaints would be the sleeping options. The living room needs more comfortable sofa. Maybe even a sleeper sofa. Futon upstairs is not a good sleeping option at all. We had to buy a foam pad and it still was not too comfortable. But would definitely stay here again and just know to bring extra pads.

Thanks for the review, and thank you for choosing our cabin for your stay. Rachel
Cute little cabin, we have stayed here before and would come back in the future. Easy access. The only downside is having to take your own trash with you when you leave. It wasn't a problem at all, just a little odd to me. But otherwise it was relaxing and enjoyable.
Very secluded quiet and relaxing. Enjoyed a nice quiet walk on the trail. Very easy to unlock the. door. Bathrooms are Very nice It was very clean The onlly things wrong was the truth second step from the bottom of the step was broken.

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, location
We didn't cook during our stay but the microwave tray doesn't turn so heated items tend to burn. Towels in mstr bath were extremely thin & worn. Mstr bath needs a complete update, some shower tiles cracked & grout missing or black. No towel rods or hooks to hang up towels. The bed however was very comfortable & the cabin was clean.
This place was amazing, the perfect getaway. It was the perfect mix of feels like home while away from it all. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to stay in the area.
It is located in a serene location with lots of privacy and trails to walk. The host made special accommodations for us to arrive a tad early so I could stay on schedule with my health regimen. We will definitely run away to this cabin again for some rest and relaxation!

Why they chose this property
We love Lookout Mountain and Menton. It is one of the most unique geographical areas in the south east. Our family are avid outdoor enthusiasts and we love the outdoor activities available in this area. There are great hiking, biking, and hunting activities right out the back door of the house.
What makes this property unique
We're right in the middle of it all! And guess what? it's a great price... heck, just because there's wallpaper in two of the bathrooms (still a work in progress) we will offer our house at a competitive price you can't pass up!
