We had a wonderful stay at a lovely place! Great views of the city, especially at night sitting in front of the fire. We had anything we could possibly ask for available to us and the delicious cupcakes made by the host were an unexpected treat! Thanks again for helping to make our trip to Dubuque fun and relaxing!

We really enjoyed our stay! The house was amazing. Charming old world craftsmanship with an amazing view of downtown Dubuque and the riverfront in the distance. Every room was very clean. The beds were comfortable. The towels and linens were of high quality.This home (and its location) was perfect for two early 50’s couples that met in college to stay for our annual summer Midwest town exploration weekend.Thanks again for the hospitality!!

I've stayed in a lot of VRBOs and other property rentals, and this by far was the best appointed. Can't think of a single thing I could add to the many details the hosts considered--everything from sunscreen to sheet mist to umbrellas to granola bars and bananas to freshly made cupcakes! That being said, my friend and I had a wonderful visit thanks to the beautiful view from the front firepit area, the comfortable beds, great shower, and homey living room. We couldn't have asked for a better stay! And the hosts were as responsive as they are welcoming.I can't offer a stronger recommendation. It's just a great place to stay!

What a wonderful weekend @ a special house! We were greeted by delicious cupcakes and it only got better from there. Everything we would need was provided, with bathrooms and kitchen completely stocked with paper products, tea & coffee with both Keurig and drip pots, all soaps (hand, shampoo, body, dish, and laundry) and card decks/games. The host was very responsive to questions, and even shared her garden produce so that we could make a marinara sauce one night! We visited parks, historic landmarks/homes, the Saturday farmers market, and, of course, the museum and aquarium. Dubuque is a underappreciated gem, and we were so glad we discovered it!

This place had everything we needed and more! The hosts did not miss one detail: from the live daffodils placed in little vases throughout, to the yummy cupcakes left for us to enjoy…everything was fantastic! We were able to sip a cup of coffee on the front patio all while taking in the amazing view of Dubuque; it was the perfect place to stay for our get together! Thank you Becky & Chuck!

Dubuque With a Great View

A great old house on a bludd with a wonderful view. Hosts were excellent, friendly, helpful, and provided many awesome amenities. Great place to enjoy Dubuque and the Mississippi!

Great stay in Iowa

Becky and Chuck were amazing hosts! The cupcakes they made were delicious! The home was beautiful with nice views! It was a great place to stay in between baseball games and to spend some quality time with the family!
