Turned away at the door

When we arrived the owner answered the door. She said she had cancelled the reservation. I had received confirmation from VRBO that everything was a go. We ended up with nowhere to sleep two+ hours from home. Reimbursement has not appeared yet.

Hi Laureen; your booking was immediately cancelled due to ongoing delays in construction; which you acknowledged that you had not seen for some reason; you have been given a full refund. The problem lies I believe in the lack of human interaction in the VRBO booking site. Once again; so sorry that this happened to you.
