Talk about location, location, location! This little gem is petite but has everything you need for a relaxing beach retreat. Very close to the beach, restaurants and shops. The host was responsive and the place is tidy. There is a bit of road noise, that being said, it was a great experience.

Disliked: Listing accuracy
This property was misleading in stating that there are 2 queen sized beds. There is only one bedroom with a bed. The front room had a full sized futon and nothing else in it.The shower is so small you can barely move in it. If you are a larger person, do NOT rent this home.The only upside was the location. It’s close to shops and restaurants and within walking distance to the beach. Price wise, I wish we would have stayed in a beach front hotel with a balcony instead.

Our listing does specify that there is one queen bed in the bedroom and a full-sized futon in the living area, but we understand how that could be misleading. Crab Cottage has a great location and has great “bones”. It is in dire need of renovation, upgrading & cleaning.Front porch & mat dirtyCarpets not vacuumed & could see pet stains, filthy fringeLinoleum not moppedStainless steel appliances smeared w/stains; no disposal; oven filthyKitchen ill-stocked; All drawers had crumbs and dirtCookware was gouged and blackened; AVARI provided a new limited setDishes were chipped, unmatched and not enoughRefrigerator leaked water into vegetable bins; took 12 days to get repair person.Had to wash all linens and towels – smelled terribleDryer so full of lint, it could’ve started a fire; someone came the next dayTerribly small Bathroom had mold on the ceiling & no horizontal space; rusty square 2ft high tableMain bedroom had shelving unit, no dresser or desk2nd bedroom had soiled futon; Avari wrote that there would be two queen size beds; NOT, they gave a piece of foam & 375 credit for the inconvenience, but would not buy a bed; part of wall was ripped away; no other furniture, no closet No dining room, only two chairs at counterLiving room had soiled loveseat & one recliner; no coffee or end tables; there was a TV/traysNo desks to set up computersAll doors, baseboards, dinged or chippedAll wooden surfaces were thick with dust & louvered blinds were greasy, sticky with dirtWe had spiders/bugs - sent spider sprayOur month at Crab Cottage proved far below our needs to truly celebrate my husband‘s 80th birthday.

The location is amazing! There is beach access two blocks from the property at Don & Ann Davis Park. You can walk to all the restaurants as well. The house itself is small and cozy. The view of the ocean from the kitchen window was a bonus. My only complaint would be the very loud traffic noise. If you are sound sensitive, the traffic noise in the living room and bedroom will be quite disturbing.

Loved the little house. Great location to Nye Beach shopping, dog park and actual beach. House well equiped and very clean. Would love to see a small fenced area for the dog. Also some storage for clothing in spare bedroom. Overall we would give it a9 star review and will definitely be back.

Lovely stay

Well located. Full amenities with washer, dryer and dishwasher. Comfortable bed. Very clean, well equipped and charming. Nice neighbors. Short walk to the beach and a nice view of the ocean from the kitchen window.
