Tropical paradise

Beautiful accommodation, loved the swimming pool, garden and wildlife. Owner was responsive to any queries. Close to fantastic beaches. Best bet is to get transport to get the most out of the region so we hired an ATV to get about. Best local food is Mochas Munchis in Montezuma where the host is extremely welcoming and the food is delicious. Try the snapper! Great place to stay highly recommend it. Tropical paradise.

If you're thinking about staying here then do it. The house is gorgeous and secluded but only 10 minutes by car away from Montezuma. The property owner Lynn is absolutely amazing. She knows everything about the area and can tell you where to eat, what tours to book and what beaches to check out. Her advice made our trip so much better! My wife was messaging her on WhatsApp all week and was constantly marveling at how helpful and kind Lynn was. As a heads up,the listing location is not accurate, The house is a <5 minute walk to the Los Cedros beach between Cabuya and Montezuma, not in Santa Fe.

Favorite Vacation Rental

This probably was my favorite VRBO rental ever. The location is great for exploring the southern tip of the Nicoya Peninsula. and the house was such a great place to relax. It basically consists of two rooms: a kitchen (and bathroom) on the first floor and a bedroom (and bathroom) on the upper (second) floor. Both floors have large decks with hammocks and chairs overlooking the pool area. The upper deck is a great place to look for monkeys (I saw howlers and capuchin) and birds. For the most part, the property is totally private; there are houses nearby, but it's difficult to see them (and for them to see you). I really hope I can come back here someday.

Best VRBO I've ever rented

Communication with the host was excellent despite her being in Europe when we were there, but that didnt matter at all. She had a really nice and knowledgeable, trustworthy man there ro greet us and make us accustomed to the house which was off the chain AMAZING! The lighting, the air conditioning, the pool, the bathrooms the Bluetooth connected projector in the main bedroom with the remote control roll down shades all around the home was spectacular. The beds were comfortable and spacious. The house is surrounded by several families of monkeys who are active all day. We could watch them carry their young, and the juveniles playing with each other from the deck. Just amazing. I loved this place so very much, and never wanted to leave. Its also surprisingly affordable, and only cost us $170 USD/night. Thanknyou so so so much for an unforgettable trip. Russell

Outdoor living at its BEST

This is a beautiful property with amazing architecture where modern design meets rustic allure. The house is a glass house with expansive views of the property. The infinity pool is huge and we enjoyed morning and evening swims every day. The outdoor spaces are comfortable, beautiful and designed for easy living as well as monkey viewing. The unadvertised bonus is a huge screen and projector in the bedroom where we could watch movies at night. And the bed was the best we've slept in!! We were leary of renting this place because it looked too good to be true and there were no reviews at the time when we booked. But we are seriously happy that we got to experience this lovely floating house. We enjoyed every minute of our stay there and will rent it again if we ever return to the area. Lynn was a gracious and responsive house manager. The neighbors who care for the house did a great job. We felt very safe there and we also enjoyed the daily visits from their two friendly well-behaved dogs.
