Great location! Awesome backyard and front porch. Might ask the hosts for blankets ahead of time, as we had 5 individuals and felt like we didn’t have enough. Bring laundry soap if you’re planning to do laundry.

This spot was perfect in so many ways! The unit had everything you’d need or want for cooking and most of all relaxing. The harbor view porch was definitely enjoyed by all. Very close to everything you love about Cape Ann.

Beautifully decorated, comfortable, and well equipped! Felt more like a “real” home than a vacation home Really enjoyed watching sunsets seated on rockers on the front porch and the backyard was absolutely lovely with well maintained plantings and a patio table and chairs. If you like a bright daytime interior, this is the house for you! The charming interior includes so many interesting windows in all directions featuring views of the harbor. Good restaurants and grocery stores are an easy drive away. We were in Gloucester primarily for a whale watching excursion, but this house was also a perfect location to visit the charming town of Rockport, MA, and Halibut Point State Park with a very pleasant trail around the granite quarry and down to the ocean. Highly recommend!!

Beautiful, wonderfully well stocked home with everything anyone would need! And not just starter supplies either! They even have beach necessities in a shed out back! Quality and quantity amazing in everything! Beautiful views, comfortable rocking chairs on front porch. Everything was great!!

The house is cozy and charming. We enjoyed the view and all of the windows! We spent a lot of time in the kitchen and played games at the dining room table. It was a very convenient location for getting to the marinas, lighthouse, beaches and restaurants. We recommend it!

Beautiful cottage like experience that overlooks the water across the street. We enjoyed drinking our coffee in the front porch and watching the boats. There is a beautiful garden and cute patio in the back. Walking distance to a local coffee shop and it is a great home base for day trips and visits to the beaches and shopping.

Early September Visit

It was a beautiful location with a fantastic view of the water. Lots of restaurants nearby. Close to Rockport and Halibut Point State Park. The accommodations were unique and eclectic. The location was ideal.
