We are the delighted new owners of this well established & well loved short term rental! This Rockport bungalow sits on a quiet side street between Granite St and the ocean! You’ve got the best of both worlds with a private pool in your backyard and only a 6 minute walk to Front Beach. (Ask about the shortcut!)

Everything that makes Rockport special is within arm's reach. Across from Front Beach enjoy oceanfront dining at Fresco’s Seaside, or walk a few minutes further to explore the iconic Bearskin Neck, famous for its art galleries, local boutiques, Motif #1, and the world-class Shalin Liu Performance Center. Leave the car behind entirely—the Whistlestop Mall plaza is just a 7-minute walk up the street for groceries, local beer and wine, pharmacy needs, a brewery and cinema. Best of all, the MBTA train station is located next to the plaza making it incredibly easy to take a scenic day trip into historic Salem or downtown Boston.

This home boasts 2 inviting bedrooms with 1 queen bed in one room and 2 queen beds in the other. The open, yet deeply cozy living room includes a custom gas fireplace for the cooler coastal months, a large comfortable sectional and large windows with sliding glass door showing off the beautiful deck, private pool and backyard. Central Air, WiFi, a curated library and laundry units are just a few of the additional amenities provided. Kickback, relax, and enjoy everything Rockport and our bungalow has to offer!

The property is comfortable and beautifully decorated. The main attractions within Rockport are all within walking distance and nothing on the entirety of Cape Ann felt more than a 15 min drive away. Great rental and great place to visit.

We loved our stay in Rockport! The home was beautiful and perfect for our family of four. We loved the pool and walking to Mill Pond and Front Beach and enjoying dinner outside in the backyard. Christine and Michael were wonderful hosts and very responsive too - thank you for a lovely week!

We loved our stay at this stylish, cozy property! The house was immaculate and had everything we needed. My daughter loved the pool. We appreciated use of the beach chairs and wagon. The proximity to the beach and the train can’t be beat! We needed to contact the owners and they were very responsive. We would love to stay again!

The home was beautiful, well laid out with excellent amenities. My family of four enjoyed the pool, outdoor patio, comfy living area, open kitchen and nice bedrooms. The home is in a very convenient location, walking distance from many shops and restaurants. Hosts were highly responsive and thought of every detail. Loved our stay and vacation in Rockport.

We loved our stay here. It's a perfect spot! Close to all the restaurants, galleries and shops in Bear Skin Neck but tucked away in a private setting. The hosts are amazing. We had everything we needed, and they made us feel completely welcome and at home. We will definitely stay again in the future.

This is the PERFECT house for your vacation! Exactly as described, but even more stunning in person. Our family enjoyed the pool so much, and that is a rare find in Rockport. The hosts definitely went above and beyond with their extra touches like a snack basket when we arrived, a personalized note, and all of their well-appointed details (napkins, beach towels, lots of nice beach gear). The beach truly is only a 5 minute walk, and the town in quintessential New England - fabulous seafood, littles hopes, amazing views. The furniture and decor is beautiful and top quality - everything was super comfortable. Book before it’s gone!

Charming is a great description of this bungalow! This house is a bibliophile's dream - a library with a vast and varied collection of books, and a delightful overstuffed recliner that is the perfect place to sit and read. If you can tear yourself away from the books, there is a lovely pool in the back yard waiting for you! The house looks is actually very roomy inside, nicely decorated, comfy beds, a well stocked kitchen, convenient location, and a short walk to the beach. We LOVED it!!

5/5 Stars – Absolutely idyllic post-Labor Day getaway!We couldn’t have asked for a better stay in Rockport. The house itself is stunning—immaculately clean and beautifully decorated. It immediately felt like a home away from home, equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing trip.The location is unbeatable. It’s convenient enough to pop into downtown Rockport, explore Bearskin Neck, or head down to Front Beach within minutes.Visiting right after Labor Day turned out to be the absolute sweet spot. The summer crowds had thinned out, parking and getting into local restaurants was effortless, and the September weather was crisp and warm. Coming back to relax on the property after a day of exploring was the highlight of our evening.Thank you Christine and Mike for sharing such a special place.

The owners have done a wonderful job of furnishing this property. The swimming pool is amazing! It's an easy walk to downtown Rockport and all the attractions there, as well as to the town beach. Plus a whole room full of books.

We had a wonderful stay at this property. The kids were in the pool constantly…and had plenty of floaty’s to keep them occupied. The house was lovely and had everything you could need like beach towels, bath towels, snacks, laundry detergent, beach chairs, etc. We would definitely stay again.

This was the most beautiful, easy, well stocked and comfortable VRBO we’ve ever stayed. We wanted to just move in!! We swam, BBQ’d, cooked & baked, read in the library, read outside of the library, watched a little TV, listened to and watched the morning range of birds, slept, stretched, sun bathed, relaxed and simply enjoyed every moment there. This place is SO lovely.We did also get to walk to the beach and around the neighborhood (& to the local ice cream!!), but mostly we were spending time out with family which meant leaving the house each day. (We enjoyed various aspects of Rockport & Gloucester, including some delicious restaurants). We want to come back just to spend more time lounging at “home”. Every detail of this bungalow is designed for ease, comfort and beauty. A perfect synergy. Thank you!

We both grew up and still live just outside of Boston. We met when we were in highschool and married in Gloucester in 2017 by Niles Beach on Eastern Point Blvd. Mike is a firefighter and carpenter, Christine is a dental assistant and personal trainer. We both love working out, walking our dog Arnold, trying new restaurants, traveling and home design. We bought and renovated our first rental in Gloucester in 2021 and are looking forward to showing guests our new project! We love wowing our guests and giving them the best experience possible. Positive feedback is the greatest gift!

Why they chose this property

What we love about this property and this neighborhood is that it’s quiet, off the main street-but yet so close to all that Rockport has to offer! The beach, Bearskin Neck, the park & the train are all within walking distance! There is a cut through at the end of what seems like a dead end street to get you to the beach quicker.

What makes this property unique

The property is more than meets the eye! Past guests have loved the library and the large in-ground pool in the sunny backyard! To be able to choose between Front Beach and your own private pool is rare in Rockport. We also added a beautiful gas fireplace to the living room which makes for a lovely & cozy fall and winter visit.
