Overpriced due to Smell

If the smell of mildew/mold and dog urine sofas are for you than rent this cabin. We rented this cabin 2 days before our arrival and confirmed with the owner that his dock could accommodate our 19 ft boat . He knew that his dock was underwater and short. He did offer to extend but it would not have helped. You cannot bring your boat down his driveway as it was washed out. This all could have been told to us ahead of time including extra fee for trash. Owner offered to reimburse for that but not our marina and dock fee. On a positive note, the cabin is clean and spacious with a beautiful view. But the smell is overwhelming, my husband and son stayed 4 of our 7 nites. I could only stand 1. Way overpaid, should have got a cabin fir half the price off the lake since we had to rent a boat slip at the local marina anyway.BTW the people at the marina were wonderful and were very accommodating.

We have had multiple people and renters in the camp this season and no one has made any mention of dog urine smell or mildew/mold. There was zero mention of any smells or mildew during your stay. Most all docks were underwater as we mentioned upfront as the lake was extremely high but also making it excellent boating/swimming. We offered to extend the dock but received no input. We are sorry you did not enjoy your stay to the fullest and realize the rainy weather this year impacted your stay.
