Great location for access to Shenandoah and Luray. The cabin was very nice and clean and it was a perfect solo getaway!

Thank you for staying at River Side and for the kind words about the location and cleanliness. Glad the cabin was a perfect solo getaway and convenient for exploring Shenandoah and Luray. We’d love to host you again.
Nice and quiet away from congested areas but close enough to get to lots of things. The hot tub and fire pit were used daily to unwind. The way the other cabins are situated as to the feeling seclusion. Bed was comfy and not difficult to use.

The home was clean and fairly well maintained. It was much smaller than anticipated - but cozy.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. I’m glad River Side was clean and felt cozy, and I appreciate the note about the size — I’ll review the listing details and photos to help set clearer expectations for future guests. Thanks again for the feedback.
Perfect for a quick getaway. There are 3 tiny cabins on the property, but they are situated to provide privacy. Our cabin was the furthest from the river (a short walk away). The cabin is tiny, but it had what we needed. We enjoyed the hot tub, fire pit, and grill/patio.

Thanks for staying at River Side. Glad the cabins’ layout offered privacy and that the short walk to the river worked for you. Happy the cabin had what you needed and you enjoyed the hot tub, fire pit, and grill/patio. We’d love to welcome you back anytime.
My partner and I had a great stay here. The place was exactly as described and very clean. We loved relaxing outside and taking in the beautiful scenery. The location was directly between the towns of Luray and Fort Royal so there was always a good spot to go for a bite to eat. We would definitely stay here again if we come back to the area.

We hope we provided you with a 5-star stay!
This place is a total gem, so close to DC and yet it feels like you're deep in the forest. My only regret is that we didn't have an extra day to float the river down to the State Park; I'm sure we could hire someone in town to help bring the boat back to the property. The morning songs of the birds was worth the price all on its own! This was my first experience with a tiny house, but it was well designed and had everything we needed. The hot tub was perfect, and the view of the river was extraordinary. I will definitely be recommending this place to everyone I know in DC!
Quiet and beautiful scenery, exactly what we were looking for. There was a lot of bus traffic in and out of the river trail but it was also a holiday weekend. Whomever I spoke with via text responded quickly to any questions.

The host was very attentive and supportive, which was great. The overall location was cute too. Unfortunately, there were some cleanliness issues with the sheets and other linens, which affected our stay. When reported, the host seemed to take it seriously and was kind in their response.
The weather was cold and pouring rain but the outdoor areas looked amazing. We LOVED the efficiency of the shipping container however the pull out sofa was a rough night’s sleep. We are “older” though so it could have been our creaky bones too.
