About the host
Hosted by Tim and Sandy Reed
Sandy grew up in nearby Harrisville. Tim grew up in Howell and spent lots of time at his grandparent's Lake Huron home. We both love the area and that big lake! This is the best beach around, NO STONES! So.....here we are! Our favorite time of day at the cottage is the morning....Sipping coffee on the deck with feeling of sunshine and the natural wood deck beneath your feet is the best!
Why they chose this property
With 100" of private beach, to the south, a privacy fence offers a sense of seclusion, ensuring that your escape feels even more intimate. This feature invites you to relax freely in your outdoor space without concern for prying eyes. To the north, a lush area of trees provides a natural buffer between you and your neighbors, enhancing the feeling of being enveloped by nature. The cottage sits comfortably pushed back from the main road of US 23, allowing for peaceful solitude while still being conveniently accessible.
What makes this property unique
We love spending time on the beach swimming, walking and sun bathing. In the evenings we love to build a fire and star gaze. If you live in metropolitan area you will be amazed at the star shine. Keep watch for the northern lights too. Weather your sipping coffee on the porch as the sun rises over the lake, enjoying a bonfire in the evening, or simply soaking in the beauty of your surroundings, this vintage cottage offers a perfect year-round-retreat-an ideal blend of comfort, nature, and privacy.
