We really enjoyed our stay. Everything was nice and clean. The view of the gulf wonderful. Loved the very large balcony - nice to sit outside and enjoy our beverages, just watching the world go by. The pool area was well kept and clean. The property owner was very nice and was very quick to answer a few questions we had. We would definitely stay here again.

Pictures don’t do this property justice, GORGEOUS place! Beautiful view of the beach with patio doors leading out to the balcony in each room. Free beach service was a fantastic bonus and definitely made things much easier.

Had a beautiful week in Destin. The weather was perfect every day and we really liked the property. The only downside was the availability of kitchenware/bakeware, but that didn’t take away from our great time.

Amazing spot, perfect beach!

We had the pleasure of staying during the 4th of July and we were able to watch over two hours of beautiful displays of fireworks. One of the top beach spots to boot! Most relaxing and enjoyable vacation in recent memory, looking forward to the next time.

The location and beach view phenomenal!! As advertised. 2nd bedroom is TINY! I mean so tiny can't walk around the bed without bumbing into the vertical blinds causing a racket. And so tiny it gets extremely warm in the room. Could use a little better cleaning. Kitchen very well equipped but first stop we had to make was to walmart to get paper towels (none on the holder) and toilet paper (half rolls in both bathrooms) . The condo building has nice amenities , pool and 2 hottubs. And the bridge walkway to the beach was great so didn’t have to cross the busy road.

Love this place!

We have stayed in this rental before. Loved it so much we came back. It’s clean and roomy. The beach service is sooo nice. Love not lugging chairs and umbrella to the beach!

Perfect Beach Location!

The location to the beach cannot be beat! The building is right across the street from the beach and the pedestrian bridge connecting the building to the beach is great! The unit is clean and has a great view of the ocean (so great to wake up to!). Use the beach chairs and umbrella on the beach, it is a great amenity. Would stay here again!

condo has a large deck with a beautiful view of the ocean. it is very tastefully decorated and offers many conveniences .location is excellent for enjoying the ocean and beachside walks,grocery and retail shopping and its close vacinity to area restaurants .complex offers nice amenities and a helpful front desk great experience would stay again

I am sorry you did not like your stay. I strive for a perfect reputation and an immaculate condo. I cannot control the smell in the hallway and what people cook. Please let me know if there was anything I could have done to make your stay better. Surfside unique air conditioned interior hallways provide shelter from the elements and a quiet entrance and is a great feature of the building.

Arrived at the property and had ZERO instruction AS TO CHECK IN PROCESS what room it was or even how to access the building the pool or the beach. Had to call the host number listed and they walked me through over the phone with minimal success. Zero communication via app, phone with rental associates. After checking in they sent me all the information on the app- much later after check in. Nothing available for food prep or for items advertised i.e.: coffee machine, laundry detergent, or any other routine amenities that are expected based off of advertisement of property. The lack of such accommodations should have been clearly defined in their rental agreement. Was extremely dirty upon arrival, odor present- unable eradicate. Location was good, view was good. Elevators take forever and the stairwells do not go down to the ground floor. Very thin walls. Can hear neighbors all night.

Thanks for your feedback. The VRBO website shows check-in information once final payment information is made. Because of your feedback, I will push all check-in information in an email to ensure that you receive the instructions in advance of your arrival. I reviewed the kitchen utensils and appliances for any missing items, I did not find anything missing. The condo will not contain consumables for food prep, that is the responsibility of the guest. Since many people have certain allergies and sensitivities to laundry detergents in particular, these are usually not stocked. Dish washing soap, shampoo, toilet paper and paper towels. I rechecked the listing, the listing is very accurate to highlight what is included on the property. Anything not listed is of course not included. The unit is nonsmoking and has great ventilation off the fresh smell of the Ocean. I have reiterated the importance of a sparkling clean unit with each and every rental. I don’t have any details of what in particular the guest found lacking. The building conforms to condominium building codes and is reinforced concrete. I hope you will find a future rental acceptable and to your liking

SurfSide and unit were as expected

Responsive owner but didn't really require anything from him. Fair price for nice unit in an aging but pretty well kept facility. We would recommend it.

It was a nice condo. My recommendation is some bigger pots, pans and skillets A better stocked kitchen. With what is there it's impossible to feed 6 people. The condo has a great view and it is very clean. Other than the challenging cooking situation. It was a wonderful stay

Spring Break 2023 - Fun Time

Condo was exactly as described. The rooms, the kitchenette, the amenities, etc. The skywalk to the private beach area was awesome! The area is perfect for walks or bike rides. Mike, the host, was very responsive to any questions or concerns I had. He was very accomodating of my needs/ requests. Better communication of the gate code as well as door code for the outdoor sports area would be great, but this is the facility not the host's procedure. Overall, we enjoyed a great stay.

Loved the Condo

We loved the condo! It was clean and very nice. Only a couple things I would say negative about the place. You might think of putting a dresser in the other bedroom, they only had a one in the bigger bedroom and on the listing it says on the beach. The condo is a cross from the beach but they have a walkover I guess that’s why it says on the beach. Everything else was excellent. I would sure stay there again.

Good Location, Could Use Some Simple Upkeep

Unit needs some TLC. Living room TV did not work, so we turned up bedroom TV while eating breakfast for local news and weather. Several deck chairs on balcony need replacing but since there were only two of us we did not have an issue. Glass shard in bedroom rug cut my foot, so cleaning should be more strict. Window blinds were missing several slats and slider door off kitchen was inop. Everything worked in kitchen, which was important to us. Showers were exceptional and venue was perfectly located for us. Pool was clean and well maintained.

Great stay!

This is our third time staying at Surfside. First time in this specific unit. We loved it. Master suite is huge. We really enjoyed having the washer/dryer in the unit (especially with the kids). Balcony has the best view and enjoyed sitting out at night. 2 of our 3 kids are teens and once we were beaches out for the day, they could still chill at the pool/hot tub area and we could still see them from our balcony area. The 2 chair and umbrella rental that comes with the room is so convenient. Rooms we’ve stayed at in the past did not have them included and we had to pay 45$/day rental for them! Overall great unit and great/prompt communication with the owner when we just had a question about the door code. Would recommend this unit to anyone!
