This home is incredible! Even during the wind and rain we were able to enjoy all this home has to offer! The heated in ground pool exceed our expectations! We brought our three dogs for this trip and had no worries with the fenced in yard! Also, great location for a walk to the beach! This home has everything you could think of for a getaway! We will be back!

We had another great escape at Peter and Alyce's house. There are so many reasons we keep returning: cleanliness, pool, outdoor shower, house that has everything you need and how the hosts really put in the extra effort to make you feel at home. We stayed during a cooler and very windy week; luckily the pool is heated so I still enjoyed it. There were some upgrades/new items (pool liner, privacy panel for outdoor shower, new couch/chairs, giant wooden outlook chair in driveway) this year, so it's nice to see the continuous care they put into the house. We can't wait to return next year!

We have stayed at The Perfect Escape over the 4th for the past two years. It’s the perfect pet friendly option with the heated private pool an unbeatable amenity. The hosts are so responsive, answering questions and addressing issues quickly, and doing all they can to let us make the most of our time at the shore. I can’t recommend this property/these hosts enough!

We absolutely love our stay at the perfect escape! This was our third year in a row visiting. As a family with one child and our dog, it was the perfect vacation spot for all of us. Our child must have said over ten times, “This is the best vacation ever!” The pool was definitely the star of the show. It was super clean and wonderful to enjoy, and honestly, we didn’t even want to go to the beach because we were so happy hanging out by the pool all day! The entire backyard has everything you need. As a family we enjoyed peaceful nights grilling and going for ice cream. The location of the house is perfect. Close enough to plenty of activities but also away from the noisy crowds. We also notice plenty of upgrades and personal touches since our last visit. Thank you for wonderful vibes and great memories we look forward to returning.

The property was very clean with beautiful decor. The house is perfect for a couple and a dog or a family with two small kids. We brought our 30 lb dog, and it worked out wonderfully. The host was very easy to reach when we had a question. The pool was sparkling clean and was cleaned the last day we were there. The hosts left some essentials like shampoo, conditioner, body wash, dishwashing soap, laundry & dishwasher pods and toilet paper. We brought some of those items because we have rented places that had nothing when we arrived. I bought some Mrs. Meyers’s cleaning spray because there was only windex left under the sink. I like to clean the house as we leave. Lol! You will love this property!

Perfect pet-friendly escape

My husband and I had a great July 4 weekend at this pet-friendly property. It was exceptionally clean, the pool was the perfect temperature, and the short walk to the bay beach (where dogs are allowed before 11am and after 4pm) made it the ideal spot to relax with a pup in tow. Everything we needed for an stress-free summer getaway was right at our fingertips. We can’t wait to come back!

Summer Vacay Success

We usually stay in town each summer, but found this property on the bay to bring our family pet and have a pool to swim in when not at the beach! Kids and adults had a great time and house had everything we needed to enjoy our time in Cape May.

Beach vacation away from the boardwalk

We really enjoyed the property. It was great to get away from the hustle and bustle of Wildwood when you were done for the day and relax by the pool. We used the house for a home base between going to Wildwood beach, boardwalk and doing activities in Cape May. Staying here you had a central location where you could go have a relaxing sunset on the bay beach or go for a busy night at the boardwalk.

Perfect Stay

What a wonderful week! Our stay was more than imagined. Peter and Alyce went above and beyond for their guests. Small details for our dog, comfortable beds, beautifully designed inside and fabulous backyard. Peter was so wonderful with communication. He also texted to let me know there was a pack and play and high chair for our 9 month old. Such a delightful stay, we will be back!

Came down to Cape May for my daughters' dance competition and found this amazing, DOG FRIENDLY, property. Host was communicative, house was immaculate! Considering this is a dog friendly house, the only hair that was around was my dog's. House is just the right size with an AMAZING back yard. Thank you so much!
