James Place Apartments are located in a quiet secure and well maintained community. It is a perfect base from which guests can enjoy the sun, beaches, and relax. The rooms are spacious, modern and comfortable with private balcony's. The floors are finished with Italian tile throughout. The apartments are fully furnished with lots of amenities.

The kitchen is well equipped with lots of work surfaces, a breakfast bar, coffee maker, stainless steel refrigerator, stove with an oven, microwave oven and kitchen utensils.

the property was exactly as expected

The owner went above and beyond to ensure anything that we needed was supplied. Internet was a little slow but I felt that was typical of the area. I hope to go back and visit again in the future. Easy to get around from the property. Everything was great! I even saw the neighbours parrot on the roof one afternoon...how cool is that! I felt well looked after.

Amazing stay at James Place Apartments!

My GF and I stayed at James Place Apartments for a week in early December and had a wonderful time (a rental car is necessary). The property is located on the east side of the island, within a ten minute drive to Shoal Bay East, which turned out to be our favorite beach. The apartment itself was spacious and extremely clean. We did not see a single bug in the 7 days we stayed there. It also had everything we needed including a fridge, stove, microwave, coffee maker, cooler, air conditioning, 2 beach chairs, 2 beach mats, beach towels, cable tv, wifi, mobile phone for local calls, laundry on site, etc.. Both the owner and property manager were very friendly and helpful. I would not hesitate to stay at James Place Apartments when I return to Anguilla.

Excellent apartment, reasonable rates!

Very clean, super spacious. Tessa was great to work with, even rented us good snorkeling gear. The kitchen worked perfectly and the internet was flawless. Plenty of hot water and the power didn't go off all week! (A first for us on Anguilla!). The place is super quiet and kinda isolated, fantastic for a couple looking to get away from it all...Island Harbour is a great little fishing village with some killer small beach shacks with BBQ. Just don't let Everett give you the after dinner drink that looks like bark, you will lose an entire evening!!! My only complaint is that the bed was a little hard. Good washer and dryers (also a first on Anguilla!). You get more than you pay for!!!

Es ist alles schief gegangen. Besitzerin wusste nichts von der Buchung angeblich, nachher wohl doch, hatte aber nichts frei und mir auch keinerlei Hilfe angeboten. Auf so einer kleinen Insel was anderes bezahlbares zu finden war mehr als Glück . Nie wieder. Die Rückabwicklung ging ohne Probleme

Very clean & comfortable

Quiet area of the island. This is an apartment--not a resort. Nice, weii equipped kitchen, very comfortable bed, air conditioning and WI fi. Has a laundry room. Does not have a view of the water. Short drive to Shoal Bay east with the nicest beach on the island. Very comfortable stay for our week.

UN SOGNO...

Abbiamo soggiornato in questo meraviglioso appartamento dal 21/01/2017 al 04/02/2017. Siamo stati accolti da Sileta che è sempre stata disponibilissima ad ogni nostra richiesta e problema. Tessa, nonchè proprietaria dell'appartamento, ogni giorno per 15 giorni si è preoccupata che tutto procedesse al meglio e anche lei è stata molto molto presente alle nostre richieste! La casa è davvero bella, con ambienti molto spaziosi, la cucina e il salotto sono provvisti di tutto, non manca proprio nulla, la camera da letto molto grande con balcone ed un bagno altrettanto comodo!!! La casa è posizionata n un punto strategico di questa magnifica Isola, vicinissima a tutte le spiagge meravigliose, si perchè Anguilla dispone di tantissime spiagge ed una più meravigliosa dell'altra! Cosa dire, noi abbiamo lasciato il cuore nella casa, nella gentilezza e disponibilità di Tessa e Sileta, nella magnifica Isola e alla popolazione che è sempre gentile e sorridente nei nostri confronti. Stiamo pensando di tornare il prossimo anno e sicuramente "James Apartments" sarà di nuovo la nostra casetta!!! GRAZI DI CUORE A TUTTI VOI!!! Alessia & Stefano

The property was very clean. The amenities were everything you required. And the television was good. The staff were very accommodating and any issues were solved immediately. It is a centrally located apartment, close to grocery stores, gas stations and beaches. You must have a car to stay at this location.

Anguilla is amazing. James Place is an equally wonderful place to explore how incredible Anguilla really is. It is very spacious. It is exactly as the pictures portray. It has all the amenities of home that one would want. It also has two chairs for the beach, two beach pads, a beach umbrella and a cooler with wheels to make it easier to enjoy the stunningly beautiful beaches. The WiFi was very good and there was a strong signal. It was quiet, yet close to the main road and easily accessible. Nice, Quiet, and Clean!

My husband and I really enjoyed our mini vacation here! While other wedding guests stayed in resorts on the other side of the island (approx 30 min drive from Cap Jaluca), we opted to stay in a more local setting- and we're glad we did! The apartment was very nice, Desmond and Tessa were very welcoming, and we were very close (short drive) to several gorgeous beaches, including Shoal Bay. We'd recommend this to anyone looking for an alternative to the resort accommodations.

Lovely appartment and beautiful island

The owner Tessa and Desmond are perfect hosts. Since we reserved their apt the communication was excellent, everything went so great. Their apt is very beautiful, really such as described in the internet. We had such a brilliant time in Anguilla! This island is just paradise, no tourism, plenty of amazing lonely beaches, good food for good prices, very friendly people. We definately recommend Tessa, Desmond and Anguilla! Addicted!

We came back to Anguilla, and of course we stayed at James Place! Quiet and comfortable, this has become our home away from home. Tessa makes sure that we have everything we need for comfort and convenience, and the price is right. We have grown to love Anguilla and all of the great people we meet. Staying a little out of the way makes it easy to explore the entire island, and not just stay in one place the whole time. We are looking forward to our next escape from clouds and snow! Wonderful place to stay

We arrived on January 1st and were greeted at the unit. The place was absolutely spotless, modern and exceeded my expectations. It was nicely furnished and had a flat panel TV. The bed was comfortable and there was a pull out sofa bed for our little guy. Everyone we dealt with was very friendly. I would highly recommend this place. We had a fantastic stay!

A very good stay!

My husband and I stayed here for 6 days. It was excellent for the money and you absolutely cannot beat the value anywhere else on the island. It was spotless and had almost all the amenities we needed. The only thing I always took for granted was a hair dryer. I've never had to bring my own hair dryer so was slightly disappointed that the unit didnt come with one. Besides that minor detail, this apt has everything else. Blender, coffee maker, toaster, full stove/oven and microwave. Beach chairs and towels, along with a cooler to take to the beach. Tessa is amazing to work with. Organized and professional. I didn't have my phone on (to avoid roaming charges) and I was impressed with her ability to respond via email within minutes during our stay. If you want to visit Anguilla and live like a local, don't hesitate to rent here! PS- location is on the east of the island, but it does not take long to drive to the beautiful beaches on the west end. I felt absolutely 100% safe the entire time at the apt and I would book my next accommodation with Tessa in a heartbeat!

Can't Wait to Return

Thank you Tessa for such a nice place to stay while visiting Anguilla. The apartment was clean and comfortable. Your attention to the property is very evident and appreciated. We really enjoyed being on the east end of the island. Beautiful nature and breezes. Yes, you need to rent a car, but driving around is half the fun. As your previous tenant commented, I recommend it to others.... as long as it's available when we want to return! Thanks again.

Out of the way, yet close to a great time!

We are just wrapping up our stay here at James Place apartments. I will begin by commenting on the owner of the property. She is exceptionally responsive and thought of every detail to make this a home away from home. Her property manager is also friendly and accommodating, as is her friend who rented us a car. Do not be concerned about not being on the ocean. This property is conveniently located to everything you will need, but you do need to rent a car. If you have a car you can get anywhere on the island within 20 minutes or less. The location is quiet and peaceful, All you will hear are the sounds Anguilla's nature...the wind rustling the trees, along with the birds. Personally, i found it to be a nice change of pace. Since we were out of the way, we were not tied to a particular area, which meant that we had a new adventure every day. Sandy Ground is my favorite...great location to watch a sunset and enjoy Elvis' legendary rum punch, and some mamma wanna if you're feeling adventurous! The dining there is great, too. Be patient learning to get around the island. Not a lot of signs, but everything is in a big circle, and you will quickly learn the landmarks. The local folks are friendly and helpful. I highly recommend James Place Apartments and hope that you will come stay here...except during the time that I come back and will want to rent here again!

Beautiful apartment, great value

My husband and 2 kids enjoyed very much our stay. The house keeper, owner and manager were always helpful. You can feel that they truly care for tourism in Anguilla. The apartment has all the comforts of a hotel (except AC in the dining room/kitchen area). They helped me with the car rental and made the whole experience very convenient.

Great Experience

My wife and I enjoyed ten days in May 2011 at this property. The apartment was very clean and furnished nicely. We enjoyed getting to know our neighbor and the on site staff. We loved our stay here and would recommend it to anyone.

I like returning home and seeing all of my family and friends. James Place Apartments is located near historical East End. It makes it possible to share everything Anguilla has to offer with others. A place one can go and feel at home.
