Walk to Main Street! Our bungalow is on Historic Orange Street just a short walk from Town. Our property has two large homes on it, the bungalow is at the front of the property overlooking Orange Street.Central air makes this bungalow a comfortable retreat in the summer months. Enter into a very large family kitchen fully equipped to cook and entertain. The primary bedroom is very private ,has reclaimed wide plank hardwood floors ,a beautiful new carrera marble bathroom , ADA height toilet and a huge glass shower.The primary bedroom has a KING size bed ,all new furniture and all new linens.The primary bedroom also features a private sitting area perfect for reading ! The second bedroom has a queen size bed with all new cottage furniture and all new linens next to a tile bath with ADA height toilet and tub/shower combo. The third bedroom has a full bed and tv. Sheets are professionally laundered and sanitized. All bedrooms and living room have 32'flat screen high def tv's. The livingroom is off of the kitchen and has plenty of seating, EXTREME PRO WIFI and a large selection of books and puzzles. The sunporch with wrap around windows has a twin bed for napping , a sofa and work space with a desk. High speed internet included! The kitchen is stocked with all essentials. Washer and dryer are in the house along with beach chairs and beach towels. Just outside the kitchen door is a fully furnished deck with a grill. We added a huge outdoor shower in 2017! Spacious private driveway with plenty of room for one off street parking space. The bungalow is approximately 1500 square feet all on one level.
This 1926 bungalow is located on historic Orange Street just a short walk to Main Street. No smoking on the property. NO PETS DUE TO SEVERE ALLERGIES, NO SMOKING

Amazing Stay

My friends and I had a great stay at Cynthia’s home. It was even more beautiful than the pictures and had everything one would need for a vacation on Nantucket. It is in a great location this is only a short walk to town. Would highly recommend staying at this property!

We had plenty of room for everyone including off street parking. This house offered everything that was listed on the description. We loved walking to the Wicked Island bakery for coffee, fresh baked goods & breakfast sandwiches every morning because it was so close.

Perfect location

We had a great stay at Cynthia’s house this summer. The location is excellent as it’s a short drive to most beaches and it’s a less than a mile walk into town, which was doable for my elementary aged kids. The house was very clean, beautiful and comfortable. It was perfect for our family.

Magical Three Day on Nantucket

Great stay

We had a great stay. The house in lovely. Beautiful master area. Close to downtown and bike path. The traffic from outside can be a little loud for light sleepers because it is on a busy street.

Great house, great location and very accommodating

Rented the “Beautiful Dreamer” for a wedding weekend with a newborn. It was perfect we were close enough to town and all wedding events. Plus the grocery store and other essential were right down the road. Would highly recommend it for anyone.

Adorable bungalow!

We were 3 couples that rented this house and found it big enough not to get in each other's way, but it yet presented a coziness to it that made everyone feel very comfortable. There are also 2 spaces for cars to be parked easily. We thoroughly enjoyed this house and would undoubtedly rent it again. Highly recommend!!

Great Spot

The house is in a great location. It has everything you need for your stay on Nantucket. Easy walk to town. There is a Cumberland Farms 2 doors away so it was easy to get some quick supplies that we needed without having to go to the supermarket first thing. The beds are comfortable. Overall, a great spot. The locks can be tricky but the owner was quick with helping us rectify the situation.

Perfect for wedding weekend!

We loved our stay in Nantucket for a wedding. The property is lovely and exactly as described. The beds are comfortable. We couldn’t initially get into the house, but the owner was quick in communication to help figure it out. The house didn’t have paper towels or shampoo and conditioner but otherwise was everything we needed!

Wonderful house, plenty of linens and towels. Cynthia was quick to return phone calls and text messages. Big kitchen for gathering and nice outside patio. Plenty of water for all of us to shower. The outside shower was a nice bonus. Overall, I would highly recommend this house.

Memorial Day in Nantucket

Nice property with good location. Walking anywhere is easy but a tiny bit of a stretch downtown if you have luggage as at the beginning or end of the trip. We were a group of four and it was just perfect but I would suspect a group of 7 (the maximum designated) would have a difficult time because the setup might require five to use one bathroom. Overall very pleased with this rental.

Can walk to everything!

We loved staying here. I came with my 12 year old daughter and mother in law. The house is on the edge of town but was perfect walking distance to coffee shops, my favorite morning barre workout class and restaurants. We did not rent a car and we biked, walked, or took a taxi everywhere. The house was very clean with SUPER comfortable beds. The walk to town is about a half mile so for younger kids that could be too far but we enjoyed it every time and stopped and looked at all the flowers and enjoyed the pretty houses. Thank you!

Summer Vacation 2016

Our trip to Nantucket exceeded our expectations. The home was fully stocked with everything you need for beaching, dining and relaxing. We spent 9 nights and enjoyed dining out every other night. We tried Cru, Toppers (with boat service from the White Elephant), Met on Main and Millies. All were highly recommended and met/exceeded our expectations. We even had a star sighting while dining at Toppers. It is s very friendly island and our favorite beaches were Madeket and Surfside. We biked one day round trip to Scionset almost 15 miles. We enjoyed an afternoon tour and tasting at Cisco brewery. The home is located perfecting in town and very accessible to all major attractions.

The property was beautiful, the location was fantastic, and the check-in instructions were clear and helpful. That said, I feel it’s important to share that our experience was affected by the host’s response to a guests in our party who traveled with a fully trained and documented service dog. We voluntarily disclosed this information upon arrival as a courtesy, even though not required by law, and were met with a message from the host saying she was “disturbed” to learn there was a service animal in the home due to her no-pet policy. Despite this being legally protected under the ADA and allowed under VRBO policy, she challenged its legitimacy and stated she would “have to do what was right for her,” including referencing charging a pet fee. While we left the house in excellent condition and documented via videoand have not been charged (yet), the entire interaction left us feeling uncomfortable and unwelcome during what should have been a peaceful stay in an otherwise lovely home.

This special property is located in the Historic Nantucket Town, you can walk to Main Street for shopping and restaurants. The kids enjoy the freedom to walk to town and biking to beaches.

Our bungalow offers large living areas and enough room to relax and enjoy all that Nantucket has to offer! In addition to a beautifully decorated living room we also have a sunroom with wrap around windows overlooking Orange Street.
