Great location in quiet neighborhood with easy bike access to the bike path and downtown. Very comfortable home with many amenities. Will definitely stay again.

Lovely close-in, dog-friendly home with bountiful perennials blooming throughout the summer in the front beds! Less than 1/2 mile from Community Center workout facilities with great seasonal pricing, to pharmacy and urgent care! And a wonderful veterinarian close as well. Only 5-10 minute drive to Junction Creek / Colorado trails, where water flows all summer for pups. You can reach 2 trailheads for Animas Mountain trail system by walking about 3 blocks. We alternated those two systems all summer with pleasure. Friendly hikers and dogs occasionally in the early morning. Durango is big enough for great restaurants, but small enough to drive end-to-end in 20 minutes, even in traffic. We were there 4 months in 2026 and re-booked for 4 months in 2027. Comfortable bed and couches, well-appointed kitchen, great water pressure and AC. Wonderful birds if you hang feeders - spotted towhees, nuthatches, western and scrub jays, magpies, chickadees and more. Owner replaced worn patio furniture. Lots of storage space. 2 blocks from middle school track.
