Buggs Island getaway with lake living in mind. Short golf cart ride to your private dock, screened in back deck for morning coffee or evening cocktails with a lake view. There is a garage space for hanging out, an outdoor shower, kayaks for your use, 4 bedrooms split on either side of the living/kitchen area for privacy. Fast wifi to stay connected and fully supplied kitchen for cooking.

Great place!

Amazing stay!!

This was exactly as pictured, picture perfect!! The house is nestled back in a woody heaven!! I enjoyed my coffee on the screened in porch while the kids were sleeping in. The dock was perfect for the kids to go in the lake and perfect for docking our boat. Our family enjoyed every ounce of perfection. So thankful for the owners of the house to let us visit and enjoy their beautiful home. We will definitely be returning!!

Great fishing location

Wonderful house and location for a spring fishing adventure. The house is wonderful and well equipped. The golf cart helped bringing things up and down from the dock. Perfect for our two boats, though no power at the dock. Right across from Palmer Point boat ramp and just a 10 minute drive back around to the house. Located in a good spot on the lake to get to Nutbush Creek, The Graveyard or even Eastland.

Kerr Lake Boating Weekend

We Loved this Kerr Lake Cottage So Much! Perfect for (2) separate families to enjoy or (1) large family. The home was spotless, well supplied kitchen, relaxing screened in porch, came with a nice Golf Cart to enjoy riding around the pine trees to the very large floating dock. Perfect swimming area in a nice calm cove, great for kids!! Location was Great, close to Palmers Point and Kerr Dam for boating and fishing. The Host were Amazing, very sweet couple! We Highly Recommend this Cottage, you will Love it!!

What a GEM!

We had a fabulous stay. The house is comfortable and set up very well having all we could need. Setting back from the lake gives you some privacy and the lake is a short, beautiful walk. (This privacy is perfect for enjoying time away.) This was my Mom's 87th birthday and she had no trouble with the distance. The use of the cart helped with bringing large items to the lake, thank you for that! The owners were attentive to questions and that was appreciated as well. One of our most enjoyable stays anywhere. Lake life is the way to go, and we will be staying here again.

Absolutely BEST vacation spot!! Home was spotless, very family friendly location, well stocked kitchen, and beautifully cleaned home!!! Hosts were awesome to deal with, tons of water “toys” to play with, and the golf cart was great to and from dock!!! Will definitely rent this again!!! 10 STARS for sure!!!
