The apartment was relatively inexpensive for the location. It was very comfortable, clean, quiet, and located in the middle of a quaint little seaside town. No problem getting into the apartment. We will come back again.
I super appreciated the communication with the host. Very kind and on point. The room was damp and the sheets felt wet. I was up the whole night probably due to the humidity in the room when we arrived. Also one of the walls had some stains on it and the kitchen appliances could've used some cleaning.
I absolutely love meeting so many wonderful people from all over and showing them our friendly small town. It makes me happy when folks stay in our cozy apartment and see all that Highlands has to offer. I am flexible and available most anytime. I look forward to meeting you.
Why they chose this property
I summered in Highlands as a child and for most of my life, once you come it's hard to leave. Highlands is a small, waterfront community with sweeping views of the Atlantic Ocean and New York City skyline from hills that spiral down to the cool bay and ocean waters. Highlands is less than an hour from Manhattan. and many people, just like my family, come to experience all the town has to offer. No matter what season, Highlands has everything for a perfect weekend away from it all.
What makes this property unique
The town is safe, walkable and friendly. Visitors don't even have to get in a car to relax and enjoy an escape to Highlands. Seastreak ferry, leaves from Manhattan, Pier 11 or East 34th Street and can get you here in about 45 minutes. NJ Transit and Academy Buses are in walking distance to the apartment.
