Three bedrooms on the upper level, each with ensuite baths and stunning Adirondack views. Beautiful entertaining space on Lower Level opens to outdoor patio and hot tub with the same magnificent views found up above. this level features an expansive bar, 8'pool table, large sectional seating area with 60' TV and Bose surround sound. Two additional bedrooms and large full bath complete the lower level.

Sleeps 12 with a maximum of 10 adults.

We loved the house

Stayed here for a family wedding at the Sagamore. The house is lovely, immaculate and has everything you could need. But the views!!!! Out of this world. 11/10. Must visit.

Fantastic vacation

This rental is great. The home is beautiful. The furnishings are top notch and the location cannot be beat. We had 10 people in our party, we had plenty of room inside and out and were very comfortable. The views of the lake are breathtaking and the surroundings are peaceful and quiet. We had a great time and are already planning a return visit next year.

Beautiful home with incredible views of Lake George. Perfect for our extended family winter vacation. Large kitchen for gathering and preparing meals. Really enjoyed the lower level hangout area with pool table, bar, and sitting area. Debby was great to work with as property host/manager.

I rented this house for a group of ten adults and three babies for a friends weekend. The pictures are what initially caught our attention as we wanted a large space that could comfortably accommodate all of us. All I can say is wow, the pictures posted do not do this house justice. It was the most beautiful home I have ever stayed in. There are three complete floors and the first and second floor feel like their own apartments. Since we had kids with us, noise was a consideration and because of the large living space on the first floor, we never had to worry about waking the babies up at night. When initially walking into the home we were shocked at how clean it was. I had no problem letting my nine month old crawl on the floors. The kitchen was stocked with everything you could imagine and very comfortable to cook in. The owner of the property met us at check in and gave a wonderfully thorough tour and was readily available the entire weekend. By the first night my friends and I were already discussing how we might rent this house year after year. I can’t recommend this house enough to anyone that has a large group!

I'm not sure any one of us in our party would give this fewer than 5 stars. We had a wonderful time with only one hiccup that was addressed immediately. Communication with the owner was amazing. She took care of each and every question we had. The location was perfect and that view! We can't wait to do it all again!

Magical Weekend

Just returned from a 3 night stay at Lake Winds with my wife, 4 grown children and their spouses. It was fabulous. The property has probably the best location on Lake George, high above on the mountain. The vistas are breathtaking, the house is beautiful, extremely comfortable, and has everything you could need. You could never get tired of the views. Maia and Debby, the owner and property manager respectively, couldn’t have been nicer or more accommodating. Do yourself a favor, take the Lake Winds experience.

exceptional and beautifull

i had the pleasure of meeting the owner and host upon arrival.....they made myself and family feel quite welcome.....the home was spotless and inviting.The view of lake george was awesome from the deck.....there is only about 10 homes on lake winds road...each one is beautifull....we rented a pontoon boat for 3 days and were able to see Maia home from the water high up in the mountains.....there are very few homes for rent with this view...Thanks Maia...Dennis and family

Wow. Gorgeous views. Nicely appointed. TV instructions a bit complicated, but we got the hang of it. Very comfortable place to spend a family week together w kids, grand kids, and a couple of elders. 10 min ride down to Bolton Landing, 20 mins to LG Village. Not good for wheelchair or disabled guests bc bedrooms are on top or lower floors, so stairs involved. Parking great, for 4 vehicles.

Not your standard VRBO

With the many 5 star reviews you can get your hopes up… but this property will live up to them all. Two families with a teen and two pre-teens, we found the home to be very comfortable and well-appointed, plus conveniences that were not expected, like waking up to a treated driveway after a snowfall overnight. After a morning of skiing, our boys wanted to return to the house early just to hang out by the fire place. Our three day visit went too quickly- you’ll want to escape here for longer. The hosts are unmatched in their dedication to making your stay a good one. We plan to return!

Treat Yourself!

We just completed our Sixth Annual stay at Lake Winds. This house has it all and more. Lake Winds never gets old. The house is beautiful and has all the mod cons. With breathtaking views of the Queen of Lakes from the mountaintop, my wife, sons, daughters, and six grandkids had a ball. We're already looking forward to next year's visit. Dealing with Maia and Debby is an absolute pleasure. They will go out of their way to accommodate you. Do yourself a favor and book a few days at Lake Winds. You'll never forget it!

Beautiful Home with Outstanding Views!

This is our third time staying in this amazing home. It is beautifully maintained and has every amenity. The property manager, Debby, goes above and beyond with her communications and helpfulness. We had nine people staying within our family - including two younger children and an infant. There are three floors to lounge, read, watch t.v., play pool, entertain and escape to if needed! Many nooks to cozy up to and read or just admire the amazing views. Quiet private neighborhood. The snow plows for the driveway and walkways were out at 7:30 a.m. the morning of our departure which was amazing - though all of us were hoping to be "snowed in"..... We have stayed in many rental homes in past years and this is one of the best.

Castle in the Clouds

We had never done this before so we were quite apprehensive. The owners answered every question and made us feel at ease. The property manager, Susan, met us at the door on arrival day and the house was spotless. You will not believe this house! The words and pictures do not do it justice. As soon as you get out of your car, the view of Lake George will take your breath away. You are sitting on top of a mountain looking down on the enchanted forest. I could have spent my entire vacation on the wrap-around deck. But once inside, the open arrangement of the main floor made entertaining easy. The breakfast area flows into the kitchen and the entire family found positions around the irregular island where the professional oven, huge counter top and microwave reside The living room is on the other side in front of the formal dining room just off the side deck where the BBQ grill sits. There is also a small TV den, bathroom, and the walkway to the three car garage just past the washer and dryer. There are two dishwashers that came in so handy. The lower level has a wet bar with another dishwasher, a pool table, and a large screen TV where the kids held camp all week. The patio with the hot tub is off the lower level. There are two bedrooms and one huge bathroom on this level. Upstairs are three master bedrooms including one with a loft with panoramic views of the lake. The family loved Lake George and we went all over the area but we loved coming home every evening to our castle in the clouds. You will not be sorry.

Magical Thanksgiving with Family

We stayed here with the whole family, including grandkids, for just over a week around Thanksgiving. Everything about the house was better than anticipated. The photos do not do it justice and cannot reflect all of the little extras that Maia and Debby provide. The house and the property are well maintained and the views are even better than the photos. There was enough space that everyone could find a special spot. My wife and I loved sitting by the fire in the family room. Normally you would have at least one complaint or suggestion…we have none. The place was perfect.

Why they chose this property

We love being able to enjoy a fun filled day on the lake or a good hike on one of the surrounding peaks, then come back at the end of the day to a beautiful home where we can cook a great meal while we connect with family and friends. Later we can have a camp fire, or a rousing game of pool while watching the moon rise over the Lake... Who says you can't have it all?

What makes this property unique

Being close to everything, but far enough away to enjoy your peace and privacy and the beautiful view you can only get from up above the bustling town and Lake below.
