Welcome to Casa Verde, our picturesque hillside home boasting expansive views of Los Angeles. Situated on lush landscaping and set back from the street, our home is nestled in the charmingly funky Franklin Hills neighborhood. Walkable to both Los Feliz and Silverlake and vibrant restaurant scene, enjoy a stroll through the hills down to many local favorites (Café Stella, Black Cat, All Time, Maru, Pine and Crane, Intelligentsia, La Colombe, Tartine bakery, and Erewhon Market). We’re just a mile from Griffith Park’s hiking trails, tennis courts, as well as the Griffith Observatory and its panoramic views, Children's Hospital, and Universal Studios, Beverly Hills, and more are just mere miles away.

Our home is also uniquely situated along one of the historic hidden staircases that make up Silverlake and Los Feliz’s stairway walk (check out frankinhills.org/stairwaywalk). When you’re not exploring the local sights or relaxing on our outdoor decks, we hope you’ll take a stroll through our verdant garden that’s been lovingly curated over the years with meandering stone pathways through scores of local flowers, plants, and cacti.

Other creature comforts include a Nest thermostat central air conditioning and heating, high speed WiFi, a smart HDTV, full-size washer and dryer, and complimentary coffee, tea, and water to jump start your stay. Casa Verde is the perfect sojourn for solo travelers in town for business or a retreat, couples, and friends and families coming to experience everything else LA has to offer. (We can provide a Pack N Play if requested in advance.)

Our home is tranquil and hidden in the hills, yet walkable to the lively neighborhoods of Los Feliz and Silverlake. Our guests can enjoy a quiet retreat for writing, relaxing, etc. as well as venturing down to Sunset Junction for great meals, drinks and shops. We’re close to Trader Joe’s, Whole Foods, Gelson’s, and Lassens for all your snacks and in-home dining needs. Our newly updated kitchen includes a Viking range we love to cook on before dining out on the deck as we enjoy panoramic views, the beauty of flowering Bougainvillea, and the fresh smell of Jasmine. Our family and friends also savor the sunrise with their morning coffee, tea, and newsfeeds on the privacy of the decks just outside each bedroom.

We keep Casa Verde clean, updated and refreshed, so we trust you’ll feel as comfortable and at home here as we do.
