Perfect location for a first time trip to Charleston. We were within walking distance to many restaurants, bars, and shopping. If you don’t mind walking, Aquarium Wharf is only a half hour away too (Fort Sumter and harbor tours). There is also a little corner grocery store at the end of the block which was convenient. AND… Holey Bagels is right across the street- best bagels ever! The place has comfortable beds and management responded to questions quickly. Another convenient perk is that we could store our luggage at their office 2 blocks away on the day we left as our flight home was later in the afternoon.

The property is an amazing old southern home. Which may give you some modern inconveniences. Like smaller showers than you’re used to or the kitchen being on the second floor, but this is all a small price to pay for the character that the house has to offer. It is located on a very busy street which can be noisy at night, but there is a white noise machine that helps a lot.

Older homes definitely come with a few unique quirks, and being downtown means there can be some city noise, but the white noise machine is there to help make things more comfortable. Everything was excellent with this property. The only two items we could comment are: no on-site parking. Not too inconvenient but we had to park in church parking lot next door and on Sunday in a garage. But doable. The dining area is extreme small for a large group and the “living room” area were not really suitable for our large group to sit and talk. The showers were small. But the house was very clean. We all loved the linen and the beds. Thank you!

Lovely stay

This stay was everything I needed it to be! The host was very helpful and understanding as I had a flat tire at check out. The house was amazing I felt like I was at home. I will definitely be booking this house again!

Great place, great location.

This VRBO was conveniently located near restaurants and shops. The parking space was just around the corner from the residence and very easy to access. The accommodations were perfect for our group of four. We would definitely stay here again when in Charleston!
