About this property

Secluded yet close to everything!

Welcome to our little piece of paradise in the mountains of Boone NC! A Mountain Dream Cabin is far enough from civilization to be secluded, yet close enough to town & local attractions to be more than convenient. Located only 10 quick miles outside of Boone, NC in the exclusive log cabin community of Twin Hollows. A Mountain Dream has every amenity to make your stay as comfortable, pleasant and stress free as you could ever imagine.

From our Boone Area Chamber of Commerce with Town of Boone North Carolina and Explore Boone:

We welcome Appalachian State students back to Boone and our fall visitors are beginning to seek the beauty of autumn in the mountains once again.

Thanks to the tireless work of utility and construction crews, Boone and Blowing Rock have largely recovered from the storm’s impacts. Primary and most secondary roads have been repaired, though occasional lane closures and the need for alternate routes still exist in many areas.

Many of our retail and restaurant partners are open for business, including those in downtown Boone as well as other popular areas across the community. Please note that a curfew remains in effect from 11PM to 7AM daily throughout Watauga County

A Mountain Dream Cabin itself is fine too. Had a tree come thru the back porch roof but that has been patched. In the grand scheme of things we were very blessed/lucky that that was all the damage we incurred.

The resilience of our community and the outpouring of support from off the mountain has gotten us to this point.
With all that being so eloquently said, we welcome you back to our community with open arms. The businesses and restaurants are very much look forward to serving you again and seeing your smiling faces!

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
Dishes-make sure dishwasher is loaded & turned on Linens/towels-strip beds, just sheets not comforters unless soiled & put sheets and soiled towels on floor in front of door to washer
Trash Please note, you do have to take your trash and dispose of it yourself. There is a trash and recycling center at 8600 Hwy 421 S., Zionville.
There is also a main convenience center on 386 Landfill Rd. that is open on Sundays.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

The Mountain Dream was everything we hoped it would be! We loved the cabin and the gas fireplace, we also really enjoyed the hot tub and and appreciated the cleanliness of it. We even got to see some wild deer and groundhogs roaming the area right by the cabin. It was a perfect getaway! We did notice the journal for everyone to write in was full so we couldn't catalog our stay unfortunately.

Weekend Escape

My best friend and I wanted to get away for the weekend and this cabin was PERFECT! Cozy and warm, with a beautiful view, it really made us feel relaxed and comfortable away from home. The hot tub was very clean and the amenities were as described. I would definitely book this cabin again!
