A week in paradise

The team at the villas were very kind, attentive and were in communication with us throughout our stay. We loved the place so much. It is like being in paradise. We spent a lot of time at the pool. Watching the sunset. Its off the beaten path but worth the travel to get to it and they even started a fire in the grill for us to cook some chicken.We will definitely be back and are very grateful to Wilfredo, Justa and their whole team for their help!

Forest and Ocean Front View

This is a beautiful location high on the hill overlooking the Pacific with backyard pool surrounded by forest. The continuous sound of the surf and tropical birds was not drowned out by the Howler Monkeys even though they tried. These amazing Howlers and birds woke me each morning and could be heard throughout the day. The pool is nice size and sparkling. I’m 66 years old and not as athletic as I once was but had no problem navigating my way down and up from the beach. The nearby restaurant/bars on the beach were fairly easy for me to access across the beach and rocks. The host put me in touch with transportation I used to and from MGA and to visit Ometepe Island for the day. It is less than one hour from the house to the port to catch the ferry. Once there I rented an ATV and visited Ojo De Agua. I arranged several trips to SJDS where I went deep sea fishing catching two very nice Dorado and a catch-and-release sailfish the captain estimated to be 10 feet long. Read the reviews on FishingBooker and you’ll know who to hire. I’m glad I hired transportation that took the stress off of me after my late arrival to MGA. While having my own 4x4 would have been best in some respects, the total cost of a rental for 7 days would have been slightly higher considering the cost of diesel. I can’t imagine driving anything but a 4x4 due to steep inclines and muddy roads. I encountered no problem that was not quickly addressed. Thank you for letting me visit your home.
