The host was very responsive to any questions that we had. The house was everything we needed for our quick stay. Definitely will book again, when we come back!
Wonderful stay in a nice neighborhood, close to Publix, restaurants, and downtown Clearwater. Eddie was a perfect host with fantastic local suggestions. Provide beach "stuff" made it easy to make it a day trip
The host, Eddie, was extremely kind and responded very fast. The home was beautiful and in a great location that made going to the beach and aquarium super easy. I willbook with him anytime I come toclearwater.
Everything was great. The house was clean, matched the pictures online. There was plenty of space for my family and our dog. Highly recommend this property if you are in the Clearwater area. Eddie, responded quickly if I had a question about the stay. 10 out of 10. Will be staying here again when we are back in town for a visit.
Eddie is a wonderful, responsive host. The house is spacious and well-located in a quiet, residential setting. My sister and I were visiting with an elderly relative and it was close to where she lives, so perfect for our needs. We were also working from the house and there were separate areas for us to work from. The kitchen lacks good pots or pans and would not be easy to cook in, but we were fine with that. The house is not modern, the amenities were basic, but the feel was warm and welcoming.
Great stay in this roomy spotless comfortable house in a beautiful quiet neighborhood with easy access to the beach for lazy afternoons and sunsets. We enjoyed concerts at nearby Capitol Theatre and Largo Community Performance Centre (each a few minutes drive) and our favourite restaurant was Clear Sky on Clearwater's main street. Our thanks go to Eddie and Jenn for making our stay so pleasurable. We look forward to being able to return.

Thank you, Margaret! We couldn't ask for a better first guest on VRBO. Looking forward to your return!
Stayed here while visiting friends in the area. One level house in a quiet neighborhood. Easy access to major roads. Positives, pet friendly (we had our dog with us) a roomy house, big yard and host responds quickly to needs. Negatives, needs some TLC short term and updating in the long term i.e. painting, appliances, beds, refinish floors etc.

Hi Donna,
Thank you for being our guest. We are sorry to hear that our property didn't meet your expectations. This is the first time we have received a review that's not 5 stars. We are newer on VRBO but are more active on another platform and we have all 5 stars from the other platform. Guests seemed to love our place and more importantly, our friendliness and our care for them.
For the benefit of future guests, we would like to mention a few things in this review.
. Painting, we just recently painted the interior of the house. However, we understand everyone might have different preferences for paint colors and this is not to their liking.
. Beds, we regularly had guests mentioning how much they loved the beds. We don't use cheap short-term rental mattresses. We use Turf and Needle which is one of the top mattress brands in the US. However, we understand, when it comes to mattresses, it's also a very personal choice as well. What's a great mattress for one might not be for another. We wish the guest had mentioned this to us during their stay so we could help make it better. We always ask our guest to reach out to us if they need any help during their stay and we normally jump right to it to fix the issue. We would have sent over a mattress topper right away if they didn't feel the firmness level was what they wanted.
. Appliance, some of our appliances such as the fridge are older but are perfectly functional. The fridge, even though is older, has great features such as a water filter and ice maker. We are environmentally conscious and don't feel it is okay to throw away a perfectly functional appliance.
. Floors, we have hardwood floors in most of the areas and they usually age well. We think it adds a rusty feel but we understand it might be everyone's cup of tea. We also have rugs covering most of the walking area of the wood for added comfort.
Our home is not a luxury home and we have never represented it as one. Our home is a homey home that people can feel is a home away from home. We made sure that was clearly reflected in all the pictures and the price so it wouldn't come as a surprise to the guest and it shouldn't.
This house used to be my own home and the family home for the last owner. All their kids grew up in the house and it's a house full of love. We love the house and I am sure you will feel the love when you are in the house.
Both my cleaner Jenn and I take pride in what we do and we genuinely care about our guests. We do everything we can to make sure they have a great experience here. It saddens both of us to know that this was not the experience a guest felt they were getting.
We think everyone's feelings are completely valid but we want to make sure it does not mislead any potential guests.
We wish you the best.
Eddie

I am an entrepreneur from San Francisco who owns my business consulting firm. I have lived in three different countries and traveled to many more. I am always looking for my next adventure.
After living in Clearwater, FL for a while, I decided to move to Vancouver, BC and that's why my house in Clearwater is now my vacation home and is also ready for your enjoyment! I thoroughly enjoy hosting and hope you enjoy this beautiful home as I do!
Why they chose this property
I fell in love with the house before I even went inside. It's a great family-oriented neighborhood that's extremely quiet yet 10 10-minute drive to one of the best beaches in the country and many other amenities.
What makes this property unique
So far, most of our bookings have been from couples. They seem to enjoy the comfort and quietness of the home. It's a great retreat for them to get away from busy life and unwind. Of course, families are welcome too!
