One mile past Shevlin Park, five miles to downtown Bend, five miles to Tumalo State Park, 26 miles from Mt Bachelor (avoiding town), 27 miles from Smith Rock.
The Saddleback neighborhood is adjacent to The Deschutes National Forest with a trail leading to the Shevlin trail system (no need to drive to a trailhead).
The house has views of Broken Top, Middle Sister and North Sister from the living room, dining area, and kitchen. The primary bedroom (upstairs) also has a view of Mount Jefferson and a number of Buttes. You can see Mount Bachelor and South Sister from spots in the yard.
