Steps to Good Harbor Beach, 5 Bedrooms, Air Conditioning, Large Deck, Fire Pit


Welcome to your very own summer beach home! Located a short 3 minute walk from good harbor beach, this two level single family home offers five bedrooms, two bathrooms and an open concept kitchen, living room and dinning room with an additional living space on the lower level perfect for the kids. The grounds include parking for up to six cars, an outdoor entertaining/dinning area, and spacious fenced in yard for the kids to run around in. It's the perfect home for a large group or family traveling together.

Inside you will find comfortable furnishings and all the necessary items to make your stay enjoyable. Onsite amenities include but are not limited to: Wi-Fi, Washer and dryer, fully stocked kitchen with dishes and cookware, two televisions with app/ streaming services and a bunk bed set up for those traveling with kids. Don't forget the outside shower to get all that sand off after a day on the beach.

The top floor features an open concept living room, dinning room and kitchen as well as two bedrooms and a bathroom. The master located on this floor has a king bed and small balcony overlooking the marsh. Another smaller bed off the kitchen has a twin over full bunk bed. A large deck off the living room overlooks the fenced in yard with fire pit. All rooms on this level have ductless AC.

Downstairs you'll find 3 bedrooms, a small tv area and another full bathroom. The bedrooms on this level consist of 2 queen beds and 2 twin beds. All of the bedrooms have window air conditioners (window units are in place Memorial Day-labor day) . The living room has a ductless wall unit. The laundry room is also located on this level.

Aside from the accommodations, what will keep you coming back year after year is the unbelievably short walk to Good Harbor beach. You can be on the beach in minutes, and you'll welcome the short walk back after a relaxing day.

**Linens/towels are NOT provided (we do supply pillows, blankets and mattress covers). Please see the house manual/welcome email for needed items.

We loved everything about this house! It is in the perfect area to access town, restaurants, Rockport, and most importantly the beach. The 3 min walk to the beach is lovely, especially when you have teens who don't want to wait for the adults to be ready! The space was perfect for my family, including extended family members. Check-in/check-out was very easy. I will definitely stay again!

Great place

We went in winter so this was a spacious spot for us to fit everyone comfortably. We had a few things planned so being so close to stores, restaurants, and surrounding cities was a bonus. Plus the beach is across the street which makes for a peaceful walk on a sunny day. Would definitely book again!

Ultimate convenience

You really could not get more convenient! A quick walk to the beach. Shops right around the corner if you need anything. A private driveway for parking. The spot is nice and quiet! We stayed with our parents and our children and everyone had an amazing time. The owners were responsive and accommodating. I’m sure we will be back :)

This home work so well for elderly as well as young people

We came here for my oldest daughter wedding at the Cruiseport. I rented this home for my mother aunt and uncle and godmother who has MS. As well as my youngest daughter boyfriend and brother. The house was so wonderful. I was able to have the elderly be comfortable on the lower level while the younger ones stay upstairs. I loved having the separate entrance. My uncle like to go for coffee real early in the am. The house was clean and we unfortunately did not get to use all the amenities like the fire pit. I did walk the beach and it was very close to go down to beach. Thank you so much for allowing us to use your home Lisa and Pat!! I would definitely recommend it!

Our Dad and Sibs Weekend!

We are now part of the Fortunate Group who have had the Enjoyable experience of staying at this Comfortable Home! Thank You! We so enjoyed this Home for our Dad ( 92 years young! ) and Siblings Weekend together! From our initial contact with the Owners and their prompt responses, we were pleased. I had different questions and they were always answered quickly and completely. We found the Home to be Clean and all in working order. However, the Wonderful Deck, Backyard and the close proximity to Good Harbor Beach are terrific! We were spoiled by the weather becoming "July in September" Gorgeous so the Beach was the Place to be! However, we also enjoyed the Patriots' Fantastic Win on the TV in the most comfortable Living Room! Though this Home is two stories,( with bedrooms, bath, kitchen & living room on each floor) we really lived in the second floor with its three bedrooms, full bath and kitchen and living room and the Great Deck!! At another time, this Home would work perfectly for our two daughters and their young children to join us and stay on the first floor! This lovely Home invites you to savor your time by the sea and enjoy family and friends in this most comfortable environment! Thank You!

Great long weekend in Gloucester

We 100% recommend this property in Gloucester. Lisa and Patrick were great hosts and were always responsive to our messages. The house was very clean and had everything you needed in a rental. The best part was being down the road from the beach and close to stores and restaurants. Highly recommend. We’ll be back!

Great summer “staycation”!

Travel options are limited this summer (due to COVID-19 precautions) - we only live about 30min from Pat & Lisa’s beach house, but had the full experience of a relaxing beach getaway with our family! This clean, well-maintained, and beautifully decorated beach house was only 2 min walk to Good Harbor. The kids also enjoyed the short walk to a fantastic ice cream & pizza/sub shop. The downstairs apartment was perfect for our teenage kids. We also loved the large fenced in yard (our Boston Terrier enjoyed running around in safety). Communication with Lisa & Pat was always prompt and friendly. We definitely want to visit again!

We appreciated the two floors which provided more than ample space. The downstairs allowed those staying there to feel they could retreat to their own area.

I grew up in Montreal, Canada and met my husband PJ while he visited Montreal. PJ grew up in Gloucester and has an intimate knowledge of the area having worked on local whale watches and Inns before going to college and accepting a commission in the U.S. Army. We now live north of Boston where he serves as a Firefighter and I as a Manager.

Why they chose this property

My family vacationed in the area for many years renting homes over the summer. When this property became available we immediately jumped on the chance to own a property across the street from our favorite beach.

What makes this property unique

The ability to walk to Good Harbor and not worry about the parking or congestion is worth it in itself. The size of the house and outside entertaining area are sure to make everyone happy.
