//Description\\
Picture this: you and your dog chillin' up on the deck beside the fire table, a cold local brew or warm cup of coffee in hand, birds singing in the background. Views are best in fall through spring when leaves are down; summer wraps the deck in a lush, treehouse-in-the-canopy feel. Either way, it's quiet and peaceful - that's the Blue Ridge Cottage - just 2.5 miles from downtown Boone.
The spacious, fully enclosed wrap-around deck is the heart of this retreat. Fire up the BBQ, play a round of cornhole, or toast s'mores with supplies we've already stocked for you.
Inside, vaulted ceilings and a gas fireplace create a warm, cabin-cozy feel — without sacrificing comfort.
Traveling with more people? The private lower-level studio — accessed via its own exterior entrance — gives your group the extra breathing room needed to turn a good trip into a great one. Parents, Teens and couples can each have their own space.
Need to work remotely? No problem, we offer a fast 495 Mbps Wi-Fi so you can stay connected.
Need to Chill? Wind down with 4K HDR Roku TVs, a Bluetooth sound system, video games, Cornhole and family friendly board games.
We've thought of everything — including complimentary coffee, tea, and popcorn waiting for you at check-in.
Step outside and you're minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway, Hiking trails, App State's Kidd Brewer Stadium, Sugar, App & Beech Mountain ski slopes, and Boone's acclaimed craft brewery scene.

**Please note** The final stretch of road to the cabin is a single-lane mountain road. It's a beautiful drive, but if you're not used to narrow mountain roads, take it slow — full details under "Other things to note" below.
//Access\\
Guests will have complete and private access to the entire home, including both the main and lower levels.
The lower-level studio is part of your rental and is never rented out separately.
Enjoy the convenience of a separate private entrance and free parking available on the property.
//Other details to note\\
*Getting Here: The final approach to the cabin is a paved single-lane mountain road. If you meet oncoming traffic, you and the other driver will need to work out who pulls off to let the other pass. Please go slowly and be careful.
*Parking: Please park on the parking pad, which can support 3 cars maximum.
*In Winter: A 4x4 or AWD vehicle is required — not just recommended — when roads are icy or snow-packed. The single-lane sections get slick fast, and there's little room for error if you slide. If you have any questions about the drive up before you arrive- please message us.
* Accessibility: Please be aware that this is a bi-level home. The lower level is only accessible via a separate, external staircase. This may present a challenge for guests with mobility issues.
* Gas Fireplace: The cozy gas fireplace is operated by a simple push-button switch on the wall to its right. You can set the timer, and it will shut off automatically for your safety and convenience.
* Security: For your security and ours, a Ring video doorbell is located at the front door. It records video and audio and is active during your stay.
