It was great. Close to the city which was nice . Kitchen was stocked well. Could use more lighting. Could use a mattress upgrade, everyone woke up with back pain. But overall was great experience. I would recommend the Holly View.

Getaway

We all enjoyed our stay we went white water rafting which was a lot of fun. Just quiet time with another couple sitting on porch.

Great house, and watching the bat from the local nesting box consume insects just feet from us was a bonus. The road above the house to the top of the hill where we had to turn around in order to use the upper parking spot could stand a bit of leveling, but I understand that is beyond BCCR’s control. Other than that, no issues and the easiest checkin/checkout process I’ve ever had.

Clean and nice!

We enjoyed our stay. We came for the weekend for the polar express train ride with our children and friends. The house is VERY close to Bryson City and not far from Cherokee. We enjoyed the view and how close it was to town. The house was very clean and the beds were comfortable. We would stay again!

A few minor items would make this cabin an excellent place to stay. Screens to deck don't close, fireplace doesn't work, cover on hot tub hard to move. Just little things that don't make it excellent.
