Welcome to Bear Trot, a gorgeous 4-bedroom, 2-bath Smoky Mountain cabin located just 5 minutes from downtown Bryson City and 15 minutes from Cherokee. The inviting main living area features cathedral ceilings, upscale furnishings, a gas fireplace, and a fully equipped kitchen, while the layout includes a primary king suite along with a queen bedroom and a twin bedroom across a screened breezeway. Outside, step down from the breezeway to relax in the bubbling hot tub or gather around the fire pit off the front porch for stargazing and s'mores. Perfect for both action-packed trips and relaxing retreats, Bear Trot offers the ideal location for your next mountain getaway—book your stay today!

We had such a good time at this cabin that no one wanted to leave. The personal touches like graham crackers, marshmallows, and chocolate left for us to make s’mores on our first night was such a nice touch. There are 7 very comfortable beds, and lots of places to spread out. Our teens loved it, we loved it! There are toys and games for all ages!

Wonderful Extended Weekend Trip

Our group had the best stay here at Bear Trot! Check-in was easy and everything was very clean. Beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was nice. This is in a great location close to everything. We would definitely love to stay here again!

Perfect GSMNP Getaway

Had a great time staying at this home. The kitchen had everything we needed and the hot tub was perfect. The location was an ideal jumping off point for visiting the national park and very close to restaurants in Bryson City (there was also a grocery store very close).

Quiet Mountain Getaway

From the hot tub to the fire pit and all the amenities inside were perfect. Screened in porch area was great while we waited for the rain to stop. I will 100% look at Yellow Rose for our next vacation in North Carolina.
