Fenced in yard was great for my dog. House was clean but there was leftover food in the fridge & stray laundry pieces in the washer from previous guests. Only stayed one night while traveling & house meet my needs for the night.

Thank you for leaving an honest review. There was ice melt left there, however it was never asked for. We will update our winter weather messaging to include information about ice melt for the next cold season. Also, we'd love to hear your thoughts on what other essentials we could be providing, if you want to message us your ideas.
Clean house. Great A/C. Pretty good tv. Good beds. Traffic a bit noisy. Management company communicates well. Way too much air freshener in the house. No coffee. A pleasant stay.

Thank you for leaving this feedback. We've added coffee since your stay and are moving in a different direction with our air fresheners. We hope you'll consider staying with again!
We were satisfied with this rental, location and host. The only thing I disliked was the strong smell of cigarettes all over the house, but very concentrated in hallway.

This review is for the Oriole (we originally booked the Toucan by mistake). Upon arriving in Joplin late at night, we realized our mistake when driving across town as we needed to be near I44. Sarah was very responsive and switched us over to the Oriole immediately to accommodate our stay and we our grateful for her hospitality and fast action. As other reviewers have mentioned the location is decent but is just 1/2 block off of 32nd & Main which is a high traffic area. The house has off street parking and is located behind a post office with plenty of street lighting. The property has a nice fenced backyard but there is very little lighting in the back which made it difficult to see when we got in and while leaving early in the morning. The beds were comfortable. Overall, the house worked for our last minute needs but was not up to our cleanliness standards and both neighborhoods felt unsafe.
The cute house was in a good location and close to everything. It was exactly what the description and pictures showed. The best part for us was that there was a great fenced in yard where our dogs were allowed to run and play. The host was quick to respond to our questions and even though we weren't able to check in early, we had no issues during our stay. It was tight on the queen size beds but they were very comfortable and provided a good night's sleep. We will definitely stay again!

We're so glad you enjoyed your stay, Heather. So sorry we couldn't get you in earlier. We appreciate your honest review!
Very nice home and very clean! Almost too clean. Just my preference is I like a home a little lived in. Books, puzzles and games on a book shelf, left over spices, pasta noodles or veggies in the freezer. Laundry detergent. Some basics like soap or shared shampoo basket in the bathroom. It's just good to know what you are walking into. I did have to buy my own laundry supplies and bath supplies as I didn't bring any. They are Pet friendly which is A. Nice fenced area for you dog if they like that. Comfortable bed, pillow and couch. Laundry machines were fantastic! I need to buy new ones for myself. Really let me know how bad my ones are at home. Dishwasher and oven work great. Ice machine in fridge. Easy parking in drive on the behind the house street. The TV didn't work. Well, it worked, but the signal didn't. They have an "Onn" system? It had options for live TV but the picture kept freezing up. I signed the Max app with my account and tried watching shows and it would boot me out and crash. The WiFi is fine as I was able to stream Max on my computer no problem. Not sure what that was about. I had been on a retreat for over a week prior with no TV and was kind of looking forward to a TV.I 100% would stay again if in the area. Really loved the artisit walls in the house too.

Thanks so much for your review! We switched to Roku shortly after your stay. Apparently Onn isn't the best quality and we quickly realized that. We are also putting in shampoo/conditioner/bodywash dispensers in our properties based on customer feed back like yours!
