This beautifully updated Kiawah Island vacation rental is a Parkside villa with a deck, screened porch, and peaceful lagoon views. The villa is a five-minute walk to the beach, Night Heron Park, and The Sanctuary Hotel.

The villa has been tastefully remodeled with a new kitchen and all new floors throughout. The open main living space between the kitchen, dining, and living areas allows for easy meal preparation and entertaining. The living room offers comfortable seating on a leather sofa and two chairs, features a large screen TV, and grants access to the screened porch and deck. The dining area seats four and connects the living room and kitchen. The kitchen showcases quartz countertops, stainless steel appliances, and a large bar for serving meals.

The primary suite has a king bed, chair, flat-screen TV, private bathroom with shower, and relaxing lagoon views. The second bedroom offers two twin XL beds, a TV, and private access to the hall bathroom with bathtub/shower combination.

The villa boasts great outdoor space, all accessible from two sliding glass doors in the main living area. The screened porch features a desirable ceiling fan and a comfortable seating area to enjoy morning coffee or an evening glass of wine. The screened porch also opens to the back deck. The villa offers wonderful nature sightings and beautiful views year-round. The villa is conveniently located near bike trails and Night Heron Park, which offers a playground, basketball courts, and playing fields.

The villa is equipped with a large washer, dryer, and high-speed wireless internet.

Guest reservations of 3 to 21 nights come with a valuable credit to use towards beach gear rentals during your stay! The credit amount for this property is $250. You may use your credit for bicycles, beach chairs and umbrellas, beach carts, and more – the choice is yours!

During your stay on Kiawah Island, be sure to enjoy biking on the 30 miles of flat bike trails, golfing on one of five world-class courses, playing tennis, crabbing, fishing, swimming, and boating. Many families also enjoy the kids’ camp and nature programs at Night Heron Park.

Condo was clean, comfortable and stocked with all you need. Beach was beautiful last week in July. Water was warm and clear of any seaweed or jellyfish. Shops and stores were ample for a one week stay coupled with being only 40 minutes from Historic Charleston. Had a fabulous time!

Kiawah Dream

The accomdations were what I anticipated from a Kiawah villa. It was well furnished and clean. We did have a problem with a termite swarm the second night. It took two stern emails that evening to get action. The property manager showed up the next morning an arranged maintenance and pest control to address the issue. Our final morning there we found three large palmetto bugs on the kitchen floor. The villa needs to have a more aggresive pest control program.

The condo unit had more than I imagined (I wished I knew before packing my car 😜) . I enjoyed the beach, sitting out on the deck in the am and the bike rentals are right next door at the sanctuary. I would recommend getting a carry tandem for bike or the rental company providing a location where you can park your car at the beach as it would be a hike to carry all of your stuff there unless you just had a beach bag. Overall I would recommend 👍🏻

The accommodations were as advertised. It was nice having a screened in porch and deck area. The walk to the beach took longer than what description indicated. The walk wasn’t an issue but since we thought it was closer we didn’t know we would benefit so much from renting a cart to attach to the bikes in order to take all of beach gear. It would have been helpful information to have. We also had a toilet issue on the first day and submitted a maintenance request. They must have fixed it when we were out but didn’t receive any communication about them coming to fix it. Overall it was a nice place and met our needs.

Reviewer Comments: We arrived to a simplistic check in process with a lock box code and entered into a clean, cool villa with soft music playing from the television. The views from the back porch were breathtaking - lush vegetation and abundant wildlife! We spent every morning and evening on the deck watching the birds, squirrels, deer, and alligators. Our days were spent at the beautiful beaches of Kiawah just a short bike ride away! We rented bicycles and a bike cart, which was super handy getting our gear to the beach - I highly recommend! My family is used to oceanfront so we were skeptical, but loved our experience even more! Biking to the beach added adventure, and having our own backyard (that’s what it felt like) was great! We weren’t inside but to eat, sleep, and shower; kitchen was FULL of everything you needed, big fridge with a great ice maker, dishwasher pods, detergent, coffee filters (no coffee though), even sandwich baggies! Beds were comfortable with plenty of pillows and extra blankets and water pressure was good in the shower. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with Akers Ellis in Parkside Villa 4583. We can’t wait to come back!

Great Location, everything needed for stay

Great location, everything we needed was there for us. One critique, washing machine is in kitchen and let’s off a musty smell. Bike paths were great and could get to them very quickly. Beach was a quick bike ride away. Would stay again.

Reviewer Comments: Located on a lagoon where we had an alligator with babies sunning just outside our back door. Not as close to the beach as we’d hoped but still just a short bike ride away. Well equipped kitchen and comfortable screened porch to eat outside. Living room was nicely furnished. Beach gear was available to use during your stay. It’s probably time for the mattresses and linens to be replaced and it wasn’t spotlessly clean like units we’ve rented before but a good value and nice stay overall. A solid 4.5 stars.

Property needs some significant cleaning. When we arrived the porches weren’t clean and had food and trash on them. Additionally the porch screen was broken as was the front of the stove (neither pictured). Also there was significant dirt/hair around doors/windows and under bed. Communicated with property manager about a couple of issues and they were good including giving a slight refund for stay. Despite this the property needs freshening up. Would not rent again!

Great Quiet Getaway

We found this property in a last minute search to reclaim our vacation time off, as quarantine restrictions were lifting. So glad we did! The rental had everything we needed, including a well-stocked kitchen. Having hotel-type shower supplies is a nice touch. The $150 beach gear/bike credit is a HUGE plus! Though the beach is only an easy 5 minute walk, it was great to have the bikes and cart to haul our beach gear, as well as to explore the island. The apartment and neighborhood are very quiet. We hope to rent here again!

Good Stay within close proximity to the beach

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had wonderful stay with our two kids (3,5). The house is within 5 minutes biking distance to the beach and about 10-15 minute walk. The kitchen has plenty of cookware but no real pantry items, which is fine we brought a lot of our own food supplies. The only thing is that we didn't bring is coffee filters, the rental does supply coffee which is nice. We went to the grocery store in the village for items we needed. The condo is neatly kept with clean bedding and comfortable. I would recommend this property to any friend or relative with kids or without. We enjoyed going crabbing for blue crab at the bridge, ghost crab hunting at night, and swimming/biking at the beach. It was overall a very nice stay and we would do it again! We also enjoyed driving to Charleston for the day (its about a 35-45 minute drive)/

Excellent location and great villa for the Kiawah Marathon race. Just a 5 minute walk from the start/finish. Nice kitchen, comfortable living room, updated bathrooms (though the fan was broken in the hallway/second bedroom’s bathroom). Perfect for my family of four.

Very pleased with our Kiawah Island vacation. Everything from the booking to arrival to planning activities to checkout was simple thanks to akers ellis (the rental company). They had a very helpful binder located inside the property that we used almost daily. The unit was spotless upon arrival and we were told we didn't have to do anything like load the dishwasher or start laundry when checking out which was very nice. Great customer service was shown and we can't wait to visit the island again.

This villa did not disappoint! The villa was the best ever! It had a king size bed with an awesome mattress, a very well stocked kitchen with many sizes of pans, utensils and serving ware. The furniture was comfortable and in excellent condition. It was clean and cozy. We enjoyed watching the birds and alligators when we had our morning coffee. I would stay here again if we return to Kiawah Island. Highly recommend!
