Smitty's Lake House - Recent renovation in the Goodyear Lake neighborhood, nearly half way between both of the areas largest youth baseball tournament parks and an easy drive to Main Street Cooperstown.

This incredibly well laid out home has everything you will need for a short stay in our area. A modern and stylish kitchen with new appliances and cool features will be sure to please every cook in the group. A gas grill and covered outdoor ding area is available for those who would like to enjoy some fresh country air. The open dining and living area is comfy and functional with beautifully framed local artwork, photographed by your host and hung with unique frames.

3 bedrooms are wonderfully fit into the space. To the rear of Smitty's, you'll find a primary bedroom with Queen bed and attached laundry room. Tucked away behind sliding barn doors are the other 2 bedrooms, just off the kitchen, a 2nd Queen bed and a set of bunkbeds round out the bedroom trio. Off the kitchen hallway is a large full bath with glass shower and a large vanity sink.

Outside is a large back yard perfect for outdoor activities and additional outdoor seating. Almost directly across the street to the left is the Goodyear Lake Association access point where your host invites you to carry over and launch a canoe or kayak that can be rented nearby. There are two other lake access points a short walk away that are better suited for sitting and enjoying the water.

Great house for a small family with someone playing at Dreams Park

Perfect home base for a small family while someone is playing at Dreams Park. The house uses its space well. It was insanely hot the week we were there and the entire house still maintained a nice temperature. The extra fans provided helped as well. Very nice items provided to help with cooking or anything else done at the house. Convenient location to access to lake local breweries. It was perfect for what our family of three needed.

Smitty’s Lake House

Our family had the best time in Cooperstown watching our youngest play baseball at Dreams Park. We loved exploring the charming town and discovering so many amazing places to eat. While most of our days were spent at the ballpark or sightseeing, it was always so nice to come back to Smitty Lake House to relax and unwind. The house was cozy, comfortable, and truly felt like a home away from home. We loved every minute of our stay. The quiet neighborhood was the perfect place to recharge after long, busy days, and having all the amenities we would normally have at home made our trip even more enjoyable. Although we didn’t have time to walk down to the lake, it was beautiful every time we drove by. We also saw so much incredible wildlife during our stay, which made the experience even more special. We were fortunate to have wonderful weather as well, making our time in Cooperstown unforgettable. We truly appreciated everything Smitty Lake House had to offer and would absolutely stay here again. We highly recommend it to anyone visiting Cooperstown!

Perfect for a couple

Property was just as listed-very cute, updated. It even came with some basics like coffee and cooking spices! It was in a great location only 15 min from Cooperstown dreams park. Would highly recommend!

Perfect

Smitty's Lakehouse was the perfect place for our family to stay while our son played at Cooperstown Dream Park. There was plenty of room for all five of us. Our kids really enjoyed being able to take the canoe and kayaks out on the lake between baseball games. Appliances, cabinets, furniture...everything was updated and convenient. We highly recommend this place!

A gem near Dreams Park!

We absolutely loved this home. A well equipped cottage near a beautiful lake and only about 10 miles to Dreams park. Highly recommend if looking to book for baseball tournaments. It was an easy drive which allowed us to get much needed rest in between games. Definitely a home away from home! Laundry was a huge plus and the neighborhood was really pretty with constant deer popping out on our drives. Check in and check out was easy. Kitchen has everything you need to cook basic meals. Keurig was also great to have. Grocery store nearby and doordash was available also for those extra tired days. Great stay for our little family!

The cottage was updated and clean. The beds were comfortable and the linens were soft. It’s a quaint little street on the lake, quiet and peaceful. The owner was very kind over text and she responded right away when we reached out. However the grill was gross and the gas was rusted closed so couldn’t be used to cook our burgers and anytime the faucets were run the odor was horrific like rotten eggs. Overall it suited our needs well as we were only there a few hours a day in between games at Dreams Park to shower and sleep but I hope they get their grill and water fixed because that really impacted our experience.

We were in town for baseball. This place was perfect for our family. It’s about 20 minutes from All Star Village. The house was cute, quaint and clean! Great little spot.
