Very comfortable spacious family home. Great location if you’re going to hang out in Olympic Valley or if you need a base and want to venture out to Tahoe city or Truckee.

We’re so glad you found the home comfortable and enjoyed the convenient location for both Olympic Valley and nearby Tahoe destinations. It’s great to hear it was a good fit for your family getaway. We’d be happy to host you again anytime!
Host communication was great. The house is very comfortable. The kitchen is very usable -- the long island is great. The hot tub works great. The one nit is that the upstairs is kinda dark -- not like the picture depicts. I realize that it's hard for more natural light to come in because of the mountain on one side and the trees. But there isn't much electric lighting. Also, remember that there are quite a bit of stairs from the street which isn't unique to this house.

Thank you for your thoughtful review! We’re so glad to hear you found the home comfortable and enjoyed the kitchen and hot tub— that long island really is a great gathering spot.
We also appreciate the helpful note about the lighting upstairs. Homes in the mountains can sometimes feel a bit darker due to surrounding trees and terrain, but we’ll certainly take a look at the lighting options to see if there’s room for improvement.
And you’re absolutely right—stairs are fairly common with homes in this area, but it’s always helpful for future guests to know what to expect. Thanks again for staying with us and for sharing your feedback. We’d love to host you again on your next trip to Tahoe! 😊
This was a great place for myself and my groomsmen to stay the weekend of my wedding. It was a great space for hanging out and was close enough to our venue and other activities in the village.

Thank you for your feedback. I’m very sorry the dishwasher was coming loose, the beds and pillows weren’t comfortable, and the hot tub wouldn’t heat above 96°F — that’s not the experience we expect.
We’ve notified maintenance to secure/repair the dishwasher, housekeeping to replace pillows and evaluate the mattresses, and our spa vendor to service the hot tub and verify its heating capability (and we’ll update the listing if needed).
I’m glad you found the rest of the home nice and would consider staying again. Thank you for letting us know; your comments help us improve.

Ski with my grown children
Spent four nights with my grown children and their spouses in Tahoe. The rental was great. It was well appointed it was clean and the Jacuzzi was hot. I love the fact that there was door-to-door shuttle service, and the kitchen had all the necessary utensils, and several spices to complement our cooking.
