This review contains several inaccuracies and omits key facts that are important for context. The home was professionally cleaned, inspected, and fully prepared prior to the guest’s arrival. Every aspect of the interior met our usual high standards and was ready for check-in on schedule. Our landscaping contractor had been booked to service the property on the day of the guest’s check-in, several hours prior to arrival. Unfortunately, the contractor was a no-call/no-show — an unexpected issue entirely outside of our control. As soon as we were made aware, a backup landscaper was dispatched and completed the work early the next morning. The delay was brief — less than 12 hours — and had no impact on the cleanliness, comfort, or functionality of the home. The guest’s description of the yard as “overgrown” and “unusable” is a significant exaggeration. The grass was simply due for its routine mowing, not neglected or severely overgrown. At no point was the property unsafe, inaccessible, or uninhabitable. It is also inaccurate to suggest that “no attempt” was made to prepare the property. The landscaping appointment had been scheduled in advance, and the issue arose solely because the vendor failed to keep their commitment — which we addressed immediately once notified.
