Our 3 week stay in Ogunquit was fantastic. The home is stunning with large, spacious rooms, incredible kitchen and a screened sun deck overlooking the zen-like pond. A beautiful mature Japanese Maple tree shades the pond which has a constantly flowing rock waterfall. There are several options on where to sit and socialize: outdoor fire pit, dining table on back deck, front porch, or the sun deck. The relaxing waterfall sounds are everywhere. The home is very private at the end of a cul de sac. Sitting on the front porch watching our groups of deer or our flock of 25 wild turkeys was a great way to enjoy the time. Ogunquit has plenty to keep everyone busy. We loved starting our mornings with a 15 minute walk to Main St to get our coffee and muffin at Greenery Cafe or Morning in Paris Cafe. The nearby restaurants, cafes, bars and shops are very welcoming. An additional 20 minute walk down Shore Dr had us in Perkins Cove, which is another beautiful place to eat and hang out. We also did the 1 1/2 hour harbor cruise, loved it. On the return we always did the 1.25 mile Marginal Way cliff walk, stunning coast line on a paved path. The nearby towns have so much to offer with great day trips to Kennebunkport, Portsmouth, Wells, York, etc. There are lots of historic sites as well as the expected local activities. Our host Stephanie was wonderful and quickly responded to any questions we had
