About this property

End of the Point - Cottage

This is a chance for a unique Pacific Northwest experience. The property is a rare opportunity to experience living on the Puget Sound....It is truly one of a kind. Professionally decorated beach house sits out over the Puget Sound. Wake up with the sun light filtering through the many windows. Walk out on a private deck over looking the expansive view with a hot cup of coffee. Just a few steps down to a very private beach. Search for crabs, go clamming, look for oysters, or build a rock collection. At night snuggle up on the deck, and listen to the tide come in or relax by the indoor electric fireplace in the bedroom on those chilly NW nights. Beach house has expansive windows for sweeping views, fully stocked kitchen and linens, washer and dryer, 65" t.v., and WIFI if you really need to be connected but we have a feeling you won't.
Minutes away from the Bremerton downtown area with fountain park, naval museum, and eateries. Catch a ferry to downtown Seattle for a day trip to the markets, museums, theater, and so much more.
Close by is plenty to do from golf, hiking, mountain biking, rock climbing, bowling, breweries, camping....most of all RELAXING.

For larger parties you can stay at our other house End of The Point "Main House", or rent both houses together. You can find the home through VRBO Listing #392202

*** Please note that there are about 10 stairs to get down to the property. Also another 6 steps to get to the beach. ***

This was our fourth time staying at the End of the Point cottage. The accommodations are perfect for a romantic getaway. The view is spectacular. There's plenty to do around the cottage, but also fun day trips nearby. We would definitely stay here again.

I love this truly unique property! At low tide it is a beachfront cottage and at high tide, it feels more like you are on a houseboatThe interior of the cottage is as cozy and comfortable as the outdoor area, including the wood frame covered structure with great accent lighting giving it a magical ambiance.

The cottage is in a beautiful location with easy driving access to ferries and points of interest nearby. The pathway to the cottage is steep and the stairs can be tricky to navigate. The hosts are amazing

It was my husband and my 20th anniversary and we had an amazing time. The cottage was spotless with all up to date appliances. The view was spectacular and it was very quiet. I will definitely be staying here again. I have now recommended a few family and friends.

Location, location, location! This place is literally on the water. Beautiful views and sunsets. Kayaking access is excellent. Unfortunately the beds were not comfortable. In one of the pics it shows the front room facing the water with both windows open but the window facing the water has a screw preventing it from opening more than a half an inch. The main bedroom pillows had stains as well as the ones on the couch. Lastly 4:00 p.m. check in and 10:00 a.m. check out seems like a lot of time for cleaning a small cottage.

If you're looking for a simple place to stay that's right on the water then this is great. It's definitely not meant for a group of adults for a family of 4 it's perfect because kids can stay in the smaller rooms. Had everything we needed.

This was the most lovely and comfy cottage. I woke up right on the water and had my morning coffee with the birds. The word “quaint” describes this perfectly. Loved every minute!

Great views and comfortable beds. Small but comfortable house. Would not recommend for people with mobility issues. There are stairs (slick when icy) and the floors inside are uneven. Kitchen has basic necessities (could use a cutting board). Close to ferries. We enjoyed our visit.

I loved the property overall, I had been there many years ago and knew to expect low ceilings and crooked floorboards which to me add to the charm of the place. Beds and bedding were decent. Well stocked. Landscaping nice. View is amazing!!!! We loved eating on the deck. It’s a small quirky place and they’ve made the most of the floor plan. There are just some items that need updating now. Such as Tea kettle handle falling off, pans that are had to cook without a ton of sticking, kitchen faucet leaks easily if you don’t put in exact correct position. The bath shower curtain should be raised a little so the curtain dries, better and stays mildew free. The deck umbrella is missing the piece to hold its vertical position. There was a sharp rusty piece sticking out of the kayak where the back rest strap should go, I’m so glad I saw it before I got out of kayak or it could have been quite bad. It was just a remnant of a broken bracket so I removed it. That said we used the kayaks several times and were so happy to have them.Would love some hooks added to the walls in all rooms and a few more fans.

We are a family of 4 who work hard and are dedicated to loving our boys. Our home is something that we take exceptional care of and if we are not working to make it just right for our visitors, we are working on our main residence to make it just right for us. We love to be on the water, travel, and be together.

Why they chose this property

The Kitsap area is a beautiful region that is close to so much but still remote enough to feel that peace and relaxation we forget to take time for. This home is truly unique, one of a kind, and an amazing NW experience.

What makes this property unique

Quiet relaxation in a beach atmosphere. This homes sits steps away from the water. It is truly a rare home that even people in the NW have never experienced. We love 'End of the Point' and are excited to share it with you.
