About this property

Great Location for a Oregon Beach Get Away. Read the Reviews.

Enjoy the beautiful Oregon coast in a newer, nice home. Watch the golfers. Enjoy the views of Tillamook Head and the Coast Range. Take a 1/4 mile walk to the beach, the local grocery store or the local pub. Ride our beach cruisers on the prom. It's only ~1 mile into town for additional shopping and dining. Enjoy the beach, go clamming and watch the sunset. Challenge yourself on the 9 hole golf course. Watch one of the >100 movies we have on hand or Play Pool or Ping Pong. I also have some older Nintendo games. Please scroll down to see the other amenities I have to offer.

The 3 bedrooms and 2 of the bathrooms are upstairs. We have a queen in the master, a queen and a full size futon in the 2nd bedroom, a queen and twin trundle beds in the 3rd bedroom and a small office office area.
I also have a crib, a pack-n-play and 2 high chairs.

Check in is at 4PM and check out is at 11AM, but this is flexible depending upon other bookings.

Parking is only allowed in the garage or driveway (3 spaces). I have had many guests ignore this rule resulting in neighbors calling the city to complain and the city threatening to revoke my license. I have had to include a refundable $200 parking fee to help enforce this rule. If I don't get a call from the city, this will be refunded.

NOTE: I do allow pets, but they CANNOT be left unattended and uncrated on the property. Please bring a crate or kennel and use it if you need to leave your pet alone. There is also a non-refundable pet fee.

Check-out instructions

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Standard check out is at 11AM unless negotiated with us in advance. If used, please empty the fire pit and put it and the BBQ in the storage unit.
Please clean up after your pet and put in the outside garbage. Make sure the additional security locks on the patio door and windows are in place.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

My wife (Shari) and I live just down the street and manage this on our own. Except for the vrbo fees, there is no business agency taking a cut and we pride ourselves in providing great customer service. The cleaning fee goes directly to my cleaning crew unlike the agencies, so they get paid more and therefore are more motivated to do a great job. We love it in Seaside and know you will also.

Why they chose this property

We have owned a home in Seaside since 2000 and love it here. My wife and I purchased this home in 2011 with our son and his wife who were serving in the Navy. They don't get to use it as much as they would like so we rent it out.

What makes this property unique

Let your stress disappear. Our quiet and relaxing place is within walking distance of everything needed. You don't have to drive unless you want to. Golf or sleep in. It's the beach and you can do what you want.
