Located less than a 10 min car ride from the Ausable River and Hirshmanns Canoe and Tube rental to take a day trip floating down the beautiful river. Guests can also get to the town of Mio within 4-5 minutes where they can find shopping, groceries and eateries.

The Snowmobile/UTV trail network is accessible directly from the property without having to trailer anywhere and the driveway offers plenty of vehicle and trailer parking.

This is one of 3 lodges we own in this area. Book all 3 to sleep up to 90 total guests! The other 2 lodges are less than 4 miles away!

Great host!

Our families typically travel out of state for spring break but wanted a short getaway this year and Adam’s VRBO did not disappoint! The kids loved the game room and hot tub. We’ll definitely book a getaway with this host again!

Arrived to a sink full of what looked like vomit. The Cabin bedrooms had dust you could write your name in. The hot tub absolutely disgusting not usable. Last night there found mice poop in silverware drawer. Other issues, toilet in cabin backed up, they did send out a company to fix but were unable too. Dryer does not work, Only heat source in second living room area is electric fireplace, breaker kept popping. Communicated issues with stay, asked for a partial refund. Property owner argumentative and accusing me of damaging cabin area. Ghosted.....

Winter Get Away

This place is so great! The communication with the property manager was excellent. He replied to my questions prior to the tip quickly, and then checked in with me to make sure things were great after we checked in. The property is a quiet setting, with a large backyard area with a fireplace that would be fun in the summer. My kids had a great time playing on the trails that are right there on the property. It is also right by some state ORV trails so we were able to do some fun off-roading. The house has plenty of sleeping space and hang out spaces. There are three bedrooms and two living rooms in the main house and two more bedrooms and a full bathroom plus a massive game room in the cabin next to the house. The game room was the kids favorite (and adults too, lol). It had everything. There was TV area with a big screen TV and couches. There was a skeeball game, a pool table, sauna, hot tub, a table to play cards at, and a plastic axe throwing game that kept us entertained! One day we drove an hour to Alpena and visited a maritime museum and had a great lunch. This was such a nice get-away and I would definitely book this place again!
