Peaceful and pet friendly, close to hospitals and UF

Super close to campus but more importantly, all three hospitals! We welcome you to seek refuge here while navigating medical procedures. It would honor the home owners that you be here to find peace and wellness. Of course we also welcome visitors coming for all reasons!

We are literally Not Too Far...for "R&R", a term my father used all the time. Short for "Rest & Recuperation". Both of our parents are retired nurses. Back in the day, when it was ok to offer kindness without worry, Mom & Dad would offer R&R in our home. Folks would stay with us for a short time after their hospital stays. It wasn't unusual to come home from school and meet a new face! Each of our guests became a part of our family even if only for a short while. This was our family home and we continue to offer R&R in honor of Mom & Dad.

Btw…Mom & Dad lived here for nearly 40 years. They are now living nearly responsibility free, across town in a retirement community!

So, more about the house… other than the garage, you have complete access to the whole house and fenced yard.

The television is a 65” smart TV. Feel free to log into your own streaming services. We hope you enjoy the many choices offered by this “way-smarter-than-me” TV! We do not offer cable so if you’re looking for a special live athletic event, we suggest Gator Dockside across the street or hike on up to the stadium! Both a short walk and especially fun on game days!

We have a fenced in yard for your pet to explore and ask that you pickup after your pet. Also enjoy walking the neighborhood with your leashed pup. At the very back of our neighborhood is a park with equipment, community garden and trails.

It might also be important to mention, we have a designated desk space. Located in the 3rd bedroom.

You have access to the entire house minus the garage.

Quiet neighborhood and very walkable. In the very back of our neighborhood is a park with equipment, community garden & trails. Take the kids and your leashed pet to enjoy! It is also walkable to restaurants, theatre & grocery!

Ride share services like Uber are available as well as public transportation.
There is a bus stop at the front of the neighborhood.
If you’re headed a little further to explore local springs or adventure farther to theme parks, Hwy441 and I-75 are easily accessible from the house.

Pets must be pre-approved. We appreciate that you pick up poops.
This provides a more sanitary yard for all our guests.
Unapproved pets will result unfavorably.

We ask that you treat the house and neighborhood with respect.
Observe quiet hours 10pm-7am

No smoking or vaping inside or on the premises.
Park in designated areas.
Parties will not be tolerated.
Only registered guests permitted.
