BEAUTIFUL 3BR, 2.5 BATH; 10 MINUTES TO TIMES SQUARE
This large 1500 sq ft 3BR, 2.5 Bath apartment is only 10 minutes away from Times Square. Busses stop at the corner and run 24 hours. There are numerous shops and restaurants just a half block away. You will find these shops and restaurants much more affordable than in NYC. Hoboken is only 10 minutes away also if you are a Frank Sinatra fan or watch Cake Boss on TV. There is free wifi and use of laundry upon request. There is a fully supplied kitchen with dishes, pots and pans, flatware etc. I live nearby and enjoy meeting up with guests when I have time. The one thing you must do when you get here is walk to Blvd East. Its about 1/2 mile down the street and has the most spectacular view of NYC! Its not on the tourist map but you will not be disappointed! I have lived in the NYC area my whole life and would be happy to provide any inside info if you have any questions. Be sure to go to Blvd East a 10-15 minute walk for the MOST SPECTACULAR view of NYC!

Brilliant location, easy access, clean apartment, Dave was always available on the phone and was very helpful with everything. Kitchen was also well-eqipped with coffee machine, kettle, toaster, and basic stuff like oil, salt, honey, kitchen towel...
The host was very responsive. The location was close to the bus line to head to NYC, skyline, and local spots. The only thing is you had to park in the garbage on the next street.

Hi Michelle. Thanks for the review,. I assume you meant park in the GARAGE (not garbage) around the block. :)
spacious place for four adults, 2 full baths and a half was great, big kitchen and nice living room. walkable to a good street of coffee and restaurants. Parking is one street over for about 15 dollars a day. I would stay again.
We enjoyed stay here with 6 of us. Property is big and all of us stay comfortably. Nice location. Dave is amazing host and always willing to go extra mile to help you. Definitely recommended
This large apartment is well located for access to the New York bus, shops and restaurants. David responded promptly to any questions we had and was always available by phone if we needed anything. We would stay here again when next in the area.
I brought a small group of college students to NYC as part of a May Term travel course. Since we spent every day in the city, all we needed was a clean, safe, and relatively inexpensive place to live throughout our week-long stay. If you are looking for a fancy accommodation with a hot tub or balcony, this isn't it, but I do not think it's possible to beat the location, price, safety, cleanliness, and ease of transportation to the city from this particular VRBO. David, the owner, was also very informative about bus lines, restaurants, etc., and he responded to any of my messages quickly.

Perfect.
Guest.
Clean friendly Polite. Would be happy to host again.
This was a good place for our family Girl’s trip of six . . 3 adults, two teens and a nine year old. We felt it was in a safe neighborhood with easy access to Uber rides and delivery orders. Because of traffic, the rides to the Times Square area were closer to 20 minutes. The host was very quick to answer any questions, gave good suggestions about transit, etc and made the check in/checkout process smooth. The only suggestions would be to provide a few more paper products (Kleenex, paper towel, napkins) and kitchen towels/dishcloths. It was nice to have access to laundry in the apartment and the use of a Keurig coffee maker. We would stay here again!
I’m slow to rate this property because I wasn’t sure exactly what to say. The neighborhood was wonderful, but this is not a place I’m coming back to. The home is in disrepair. One of the windows didn’t shut all the way and I had to put a towel in the crack to keep from the freezing cold coming in. One of the beds broke when my 19 year-old 120 pound daughter sat on it. We were able to fix it, but that was the quality of the furniture in the bedrooms. Several sockets did not work and most rooms were missing lightbulbs. Cabinets and furniture in the bedrooms were missing shelves. The chain lock on the front door was broken. There was one point where a pest control man had a key and walked right into the home. We were five women staying on our own. Although he was quite gracious and clearly safe, it was not a very comforting idea to know other people were permitted to come in while we were staying there. For families that are visiting and don’t know the area well, I would be aware of that although this property is near the bus stop you have to be there at a certain time and getting back from the city at night is not easy. We were a family of five and ended up spending close to 1000 in Uber/rideshare. Next time we will be staying in the city.

Hi Im really sorry about your bad experience. But I just want to respond publicly. First, REALLY sorry about pest control guy. He doesn't have a key to my place, but the owner upstairs let him in. He helps me out from time to time when Im unavailable. I usually get a call to tell me when he is coming but either I missed it or didn't get it. Serious apologies for this. I can see that this was disturbing for you. But I will sort this with the pest control company and make sure it's doesn't happen again. I pride my self on making my self available for any issues and make clear to call me any time. The light bulbs could have easily been taken care of had you called me. The circuit breaker could have been reset for the sockets had you told me. Most likely circuit got overloaded maybe from blow-dryers and bath heaters at the same time. The next guest informed me and reset it in a few seconds. The busses run super frequently. Every 5 minutes or less into the city and 15 minutes back. I asked you to call me for the private busses for off rush hour. For normal hours I just recommend the public bus. But the privates are the same price and have a better off hour schedule and are just 1/2 block from the apt in the other direction. The beds are all new in the apartment. I assume the bed that collapsed was the hide a bed that pops up. It may not have been locked in place. But its not broken. Anyways, apologies on that as well. Its was really unnecessary to spend so much on Ubers.
Book this place, you will not regret it. Everything about this place exceeded our expectations. For starters, the host is amazing and will quickly respond to any questions/concerns, and has great tips to give. The location is great, with many bus stops within minutes walk to get into Manhattan. The place is big and comfortable, and has plenty of towels and blankets for everyone. Kitchen has all the basics you will need. My family and I cooked everyday and had plenty of room to prep and enjoy our meals. All the beds were comfy and cozy. The place had 2 and a half bathrooms, which is a HUGE convenience when traveling with a large group. We loved settling down to watch a movie on the large screen TV after a long day in the city. This place is truly a gem, that we hope to return to one day.
