Thank you so much! I’m happy to hear you had a great time and enjoyed the updates. It was a pleasure hosting you, and I truly appreciate your kind words. You’re welcome back anytime!
Everything was nice and clean, the host was very responsive, and the view was lovely! My only warning is that the ceilings on the third floor are very low! If you have anyone 6’ or above, they won’t fit up there! Still, beautiful place. Definitely recommend!

The house was just as advertised and more. There were plenty of beds and the house was fully stocked with toiletries, coffee, and everything else a person could possibly need. The property was clean and the lake was beautiful. The owner was in constant contact and responds to questions immediately.

Thanks so much! Glad you liked the house and found it clean. Happy to hear communication was easy and you enjoyed the views and location. You’re welcome back anytime!
We had a wonderful stay as a family of four and would definitely stay here again! The house layout worked well for us: the main entrance opens to two bedrooms and a bathroom, the upstairs has two additional bedrooms and a bathroom, and the kitchen and half-bath is on the lower level. The kitchen was exceptionally well stocked—one of the best we’ve experienced at a rental house—with plenty of pots, pans, utensils, and cookware, which we really appreciated since our daughter has food allergies and we cooked all our meals at the house.A few useful things to know (none of which bothered us): the home is older with charming character, so the floors are quite creaky; the lower-level floor was cold in April, so slippers came in handy; and parking is a bit tight, though the main road is quiet and easy to access. The lake views were gorgeous—visible from nearly every room—and the beds were very comfortable. Communication with the owner was excellent throughout.

This property was awesome. Very clean and everything you need for a relaxing time. Would not hesitate to book again if the opportunity arises. Could even be this summer to take advantage of the lake.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this property. We felt that the kitchen/gathering area at ground level was a perfect arrangement eliminating any disturbance of those sleeping or preparing for the day ahead. From Acadia National Park to the casino to all of the surrounding sites of interest, this property is well situated making it the perfect place to launch from for daily treks into the area.

The property was beautiful and so was the view. However, the road was loud and you can hear everything from the other rooms when laying in bed. Parking can be a bit hard with the road. The house was very clean but we did have a mouse visit the kitchen in the middle of the night.

We're sorry to hear about the noise and the unexpected kitchen visitor — your comments are valuable and help us improve the experience for future guests. We’ll look into these concerns and work on solutions. Thanks again for staying with us!
We surprised my nephew for his birthday! We had 4 adults and 4 kids and the property was perfect for us. We did a day trip to Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor, but also spent time playing games and looking out at the lake and we also had a fire going one night for s’mores! Would definitely recommend this property

Thanks so much! Sounds like such a fun birthday surprise, and I’m glad the place was a great fit for your group. Love that you got to enjoy Acadia, relax by the lake, and even have a fire night with s’mores—that’s what it’s all about! Would be happy to host you again anytime.
Wonderful property any time of year. We were here end of March, beginning of April for a college visit to U Maine and to check out Acadia . Property is centrally located between both. Acadia is delightfully quiet and still amazing trails open to explore. Host was able to direct us to fantastic hikes and restaurants that were open in the off season . Comfortable. Beds and comfortable home to return to after adventuring!

It’s great to hear you enjoyed the quieter trails and found some good spots to eat, even in the off season. Happy the beds and home felt comfortable after your days out. You’re always welcome back anytime!
Beautiful location, a little further out than we thought it would be.
Not many restaurants are still open.

Hi Sandy, glad you enjoyed our great location! The rental location is listed in the listing, and we're happy to provide drive times ahead of time for anyone considering booking. So there should be no confusion on the location being further than expected from any potential destinations! Many guests think they will visit some of the local attractions but end up just spending time at the lake instead. Many restaurants are open year-round, I am happy to provide any recommendations to any guests who reaches out about what is open vs not open locally! Thank you for staying with us!
This was a great house. Beautiful views. Everything we needed for a wonderful stay. Plenty of room for the family to spread out. We were there in March so didn’t go boating but it looks like it would be amazing! Easy drive (just under an hour) to Bar Harbor and Acadia.

We loved staying at this location. What was promised in the pictures and description of the property was available in entirety. The house was very well-kept and stocked adequately. The instructions from Eddie were excellent and timely. We were a large group of 11 and had an excellent time enjoying the lake-view and the outdoor space. Check-in and check-out processes were both very smooth. Overall a great property and a great host. I would definitely recommend this as a great place to stay if you were to go to Acadia with it being only about 45 minutes from the park!
