We choose the Mackenzie Bridge cabins based off the beauty of the area and great location for activities all around us either direction to explore! Wonderful stay!
The cabin and location are lovely! We loved drinking coffee and having our meals on the screened in porch. We appreciated the fact that the cabin was cooled down for us upon our arrival on a hot day.
My husband and I were so happy we chose this cabin for a quick, couple of days hiking vacation. The cabin is even better than what you see in the listing. It feels very luxurious and the owner is quick to respond. We hope to return and highly recommend this place!
This cabin was clean, comfortable, and the view of the river from the screened porch was my favorite part. The well stocked kitchen was helpful for our stay. Would definitely stay here again!
The property was perfect for a getaway. Close to great hiking trails, hot springs, and other activities. Only regret is that we didn’t stay for a whole week.
The cabin was beautiful, comfortable, and a great base for adventuring in the area. Good food is within walking distance, and the stars at night were spectacular. We'd definitely return!

It was such a pleasant place to be, we cannot wait to come back! Only recommendation we really had was maybe a mattress topper might be nice for the beds to soften them some. The couches were so comfortable! Absolutely loved this place!
A lovely cabin in a beautiful setting. We were so impressed with the quality craftsmanship as well as the quality of furnishings and amenities. Really a great property that we highly recommend, and will visit again. recommended
Location of the cabin was amazing along in McKenzie river and met all the expectations just as described in the listing. Cabin was very comfortable, cozy, and well stocked for a family. Look forward to spending more time with the log cabin in with our family will definitely be back in the future.
Beautiful and peaceful.I have been staying at these cabins for 15 plus years, the sound of the river calms my soul. The smells and sights are a delight..
all i need is near by!
This is one of the best rental homes we've stayed in. The cabin is immaculate and well-stocked. Everything worked perfectly for us and the beds and furniture were very clean and comfortable. When we stay in his area again, we'll definitely try to book this cabin.
We stayed at this property for 2 days. Upon are arrival we were so pleased with our choice and talked about how beautiful it was and how incredible it made our experience. We were so impressed that we have talked about going back for a longer stay. This is one of those diamonds in the rough that you don't want to miss experiencing for your vacation. We highly recommend staying at this property!
This house was perfect. It was so comfortable and just the right size for 4 adults! The screened in sitting area/porch was amazing in the morning. Perfect place to sit and drink my coffee! The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was nicely stocked. The house itself was so gorgeous and was a perfect location to the hot springs, waterfalls and hiking trails. We learned the house is for sale so we are sad if we can’t return to visit. Wish we could buy it!
Log cabin Inn is a beautiful spot. Highly recommend. I would love to come back. Our bed was hard though. I would hesitate to rent this particular cabin because it gave me really bad hip pain. The cabin is beautiful though.

The house was lovely, modern, clean. My second trip to the cabins. I love it here, so brought my family this time. We loved the common outdoor area by the river and spent many happy hours there together. The Forest Service accross the highway was so helpful and the nearby trails were beautiful. Our last night at the Obsidian Grill and General Store was fantastic with live music, great food and such a perfect mix of locals, fellow travelers and super cute canines. The store is an amazingly great gift shop.We hit two river spots and my daughter scratched her rock hound itch.
We stayed 2 nights for a near by wedding. Great location with views and sounds of the McKenzie river. Super clean, well stocked, with full cabin theme. The downstairs is very comfortable, from the screened in porch to the air-conditioned family room and kitchen. The upstairs has two bedrooms and nice size full bathroom. Since we stayed in late June the upstairs was hot as there is a room fan and windows for ventilation. It does cool off late at night. The property has beautiful landscaping.I would definitely stay here again!

Property was great. Beautiful view. Very clean. However...the beds were not made prior to our arrival. The hardest part was that nowhere on the cabin description did it state that both bedrooms and main bathroom are on the second floor. This made it difficult for my sister to manage.

"Its ok to show up early for check-in, but you might have to watch us make the beds" ... I've said this to early arrivals for years now. I got to the cabin to make the beds only to find this party already in the cabin...an hour earlier than check-in. I was ok with it and i thought they were understanding, but i guess they still didn't realize how early they were. In high season, sometimes its a tight schedule, so we ask that folks give us until check-in time so we can make your visit perfect. Sorry about any misunderstanding.
We’ve stayed here six or eight times in various cabins. This cabin did not disappoint. One exception: bring a couple of ceramic mugs if you want to use the microwave for heating tea or water or coffee. We had to heat water or tea or coffee and a bowl and poured it into a metal mug. Minor inconvenience.

Thanks again, Michael!
If you run the coffee maker, sans the coffee, you get a pot full of great hot water.
See you next time.
